We had a wonderful week at The Albatross! The views were absolutely spectacular and the staff were amazing! We had the most delicious Sri Lakan meals! Hotel was very clean and bed was comfy. Overall, we have no complaints! Hope to go back one day!

I had a truly pleasant experience at this property. The rooms were exceptionally clean, well-furnished, and very comfortable. Bathrooms and washrooms were hygienic and maintained to a high standard. The tea and breakfast provided were fresh and of excellent quality. The location is ideal – quiet yet conveniently close to key areas in Kandy. Overall, it was a well-managed property offering great value for money. I would confidently recommend this place to both business and leisure travelers.

We stayed at Royal Mountain Edge from September 13th to 14th, booking a double room. Our experience was truly remarkable. During our short stay, we joined the Kotagaga Waterfall hike, took part in the Garden-to-Kitchen experience, relaxed by the beautiful infinity pool, enjoyed a cozy BBQ night, and ended with a delicious traditional Sri Lankan breakfast. The accommodation is comfortable, though quite basic — but honestly, that’s all you need to connect with the beauty of nature. All essential facilities are available: Wi-Fi, electricity, and hot water. The simplicity of the stay only makes the surrounding mountains feel even more special. If you’re looking for a place where you can slow down, breathe fresh air, and be close to nature, this is the perfect escape. Footnote: Remember to bring cash for your extra expenses.

If you are looking for a peaceful refuge to unplug from civilization while remaining comfortable, this is it. As the name describes, it is one cottage with nothing around but nature and a few distant neighbors. Perched high on the hill it provides an excellent vantage point to watch the clouds play with the hills. The host Eric is diligent and responsive. The caretakers are friendly and deliver delicious local food. And the friendly watch dog is an enjoyable companion. The facilities are comfortable and clean, and the wifi is strong. The cottage and food are a great value for the money asked. Unique opportunity to feel alone without sacrificing.

I recently completed a 12-day tour of Sri Lanka, and I can confidently say that this place was the highlight of my trip! It was by far the cleanest I've stayed in during my travels, with impeccable attention to detail that made my stay incredibly enjoyable. The value for money is outstanding, especially considering the level of service and comfort provided. The staff were absolutely amazing—friendly, accommodating, and genuinely eager to ensure that my experience was perfect. The small but beautifully maintained garden added a lovely touch to the ambiance, and the breathtaking views from the balcony were truly a sight to behold. I was pleasantly surprised when they offered to serve a free dinner instead of breakfast since we had to leave early in the morning. This thoughtful gesture really exemplified their commitment to customer satisfaction. Overall, I would rate this place 10 out of 10! I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Sri Lanka—it's a gem that shouldn't be missed!

Golf course was good and Liked the Bungalow and homely stay. Overall a great stay at this location and friendly staff. We also had a butler who lived in outhouse who was always attentive to our needs
