Gorgeous property. Lovely family. Quiet peaceful. Incredible value. Large, spacious. A bit further way so more peaceful and an excellent oat milk latte can also be found at pumpkin cafe in closer proximity than the rest of town.

Huge room and a short walk to the beach, loads to see and do nearby….plus the staff, as with everywhere in Sri Lanka, were beyond helpful and friendly!

Cute and comfy cabanas near the beautiful turtle beach. Sri Lanka’s traditional dishes at their restaurant were huge and extremely delicious. The hosts are very nice and careful family.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Villa Tanderra in Sri Lanka, which was an amazing experience. We were a party of 6 all female friends. From the moment we stepped foot onto the property, we were captivated by the sheer beauty and tranquility that surrounded us. The rooms were spacious, bright, and well maintained. Each bedroom was comfortable, featuring plush beds, high-quality linens, and 3 had breathtaking views of the ocean. The en-suite bathrooms were fitted with luxurious fixtures, rain showers, and quality products. One of the highlights of this villa was its indoor / outdoor living spaces. The expansive dining table was perfect for long lunches. It overlooked the pool at one side and the garden on the other. Really felt that it was inside outside living. The staff at the villa were exceptional in every way. They were warm, welcoming, and always went above and beyond to ensure that every need was met. From the moment we arrived, we received a personalized service that left a lasting impression. The private chef, Santha, prepared delectable meals, showcasing the finest flavors of Sri Lankan cuisine, and the attentive housekeeping staff Sampath and Darshana ensured that the villa was always in pristine condition. In conclusion, our stay at this amazing villa in Sri Lanka was nothing short of magical. It exceeded all our expectations in terms of luxury, beauty, and hospitality. If you're looking for a truly extraordinary experience amidst a tropical paradise, I wholeheartedly recommend this villa. It's a haven of tranquility and indulgence, and a place that will leave you with memories to cherish for a lifetime.

We absolutely loved this villa, with its beautiful gardens, huge bedrooms and fantastic pool (it's all yours for your stay- nothing shared). There is a huge amount of space, both inside and outside the villa, for you to enjoy in the day and in the evening. All 3 bedrooms are A/C and have en-suite shower/toilet rooms and mosquito nets. The 'master' bedroom has a fab view of the pool, as well as an additional double room (no separate shower room), so in effect, there are actually 4 double bedrooms, rather than 3. The lounge area has ceiling fans, a full size fridge/freezer and TV/Stereo, although we didn't use this. Very well equipped kitchen by the pool, with plenty of plates/pans etc and a huge dining table. Washing machine and plenty of drying space. Very well located, near to both the beach and the town/shops/ATMs/bus station

Beautiful little villa with a lovely garden to relax in. Steps to Silent Beach. Very clean and a great kitchen.

We had an amazing time at the Whispering House. Our host was very helpful with everything we needed. The house is comfortable, and the garden and pool are very nice.

Our stay at this house was absolutely amazing. The house is beautiful, very cozy, and everything was spotlessly clean. The rooms are incredible, with a very spacious and extremely comfortable bed, and the air conditioning makes the inside feel very pleasant at all times. The outdoor area is truly outstanding: a large, beautiful, and perfectly maintained garden, as well as a swimming pool that is perfect for relaxing after a long day at the beach. On top of that, the host is incredibly kind and friendly. He made our stay very pleasant, helped us with everything we needed, and even arranged a scooter rental for us at a very good price. He always replied to our messages very quickly. We totally recommend this place to anyone planning to stay in this area. We would definitely come back.
