Cottages in Kakanui

This was a wonderful stay in an amazing setting. My wife could have spent the entire day in the oversized beanbag looking out the picture window at the ocean.

The view and location was perfect.

Hostess had put in a lot of effort to make us feel at home including extra little specials such as chocolates and homegrown tomatoes left at our door on another day. A beautiful home with the hostess obviously trying to make it outstanding for her tenants. There was a playroom for children with games etc. and toilet facilities downstairs and upstairs. Heaps of kitchen appliances and facilities. A beautifully furnished home.

Spotlessly clean and kitchen was well equipped.

The batch was immaculate, spacious and beautiful. The beds were comfortable. The yard was beautiful as well. Close proximity to town, gas and supermarkets.

The million dollar view from the verandah and the ease of accessing the property and friendlyiness of Tim, the owner.

Great location, the house had everything we needed.

The hosts were incredible, so welcoming and lovely. The cabin was truly divine with everything you need and more. It was so homely with all the details were perfection down to the sheets and towels 🤩 It was in the perfect location, close to town but you get the quiet countryside at the cabin. We could not recommend this cabin more highly. Thank you for having us 🫶

Really cool old house. It's one of the things about it that makes it a unique Oamaru experience. Close enough to downtown to be there in just a couple minutes, far enough away to be quite.
