Cottages in Takaka

This may have been the most beautiful place we've ever stayed. The huge windows facing the water...allowing you to see the beauty from the bedroom, living room, dining room/kitchen were fabulous. The commitment to recycling was great. The outdoor tub....looking over the hills and water (with a glass of wine in hand)...was a piece of heaven.

Very comfortable cottage with everything we needed. Plenty of puzzles and board games for when the rain set in.

This place is so well done, from bus renovation, to location, to landscaping and isolation. Super comfy bed. I would have stayed an extra day or two had it been available.

Breakfast N/A. Close to beach & cafes. Beautifully presented, clean, appeared new. kitchen exceptionally well stocked. Open plan meant everyone could be together. A bonus to have an ensuite for both bedrooms.

The location was stunning with fantastic water views and great beach access. There is a great restaurant close by and it is a short drive to Takaka which has all the amenities you need.

Beautifully located, with rural views out to the coast. Well appointed cottage, immaculately clean. We received a warm welcome from our host, Jean and her family. Enjoyed the BBQ and the outdoor bath. A delightful experience that enhanced our time in the beautiful Golden Bay. Highly recommended.

Spacious house with a porch area, quiet. Few minutes of car ride away from town center.
