Cottages in Caniço

Loved the size of the property for my 4 adult size kids and myself and my husband. I loved the location over the snack bar - coffee was excellent and very reasonable prices . Loved the location close enough to walk to Santa Cruz and a slightly longer walk to Machico. Host was very friendly and helpful

Very good place, with awesome terrace! Wifi works good, hot water, clean and nice inside. 2 markets and a couple restaurants close to this place. We were very happy to stay here. Thank you!

Comfortable bed, everything you need in the kitchen incl. Soap and towels. good shower with plenty of towels. Good parking, 15min with car to center of Funchal and within 30min there are many hiking routes. Situated in a small village with supermarked close by. very beautiful garden.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. The calmness, the little details of the house that was made with so much warmth and heart. All the fruits from the owners family and the incredible night view of the stars sky - somehow everything was exactly what we were searching for. The apartment was ideal for us to relax at and we are happy to have booked it🌻

The location and the view cannot be beat!! Coffee in bed, staring out at the beautiful sunrise was spectacular!Clean, cozy, safe and private with the most gracious host and hostess! Everything you need and more in the kitchen and bathroom. Bruno and Liliana are there to help with anything. I arrived later than expected in the night, they were there to greet me and help with check in, they had even prepared a light meal for me(which was delicious!!)- they went above and beyond! The private parking spot is perfect, right next to the door! I look forward to visiting again!!

Very spacious house. Very well equipped kitchen. Large living room. Three large bedrooms, each with plenty of space and built-in closets. Two bathrooms each with shower, so easy for a family. We were with 5 and there was plenty of room for everyone. Nice views from the bedrooms. Host was very welcomming and provided lots of information on both the house, as well as on places to go.

I rarely write reviews like this, but this is one of those rare places that truly deserves a perfect 10 out of 10. The location is absolutely ideal, surrounded by beautiful nature, with exceptional cleanliness and outstanding service. It’s genuinely hard to find any flaws. A perfect place for a relaxing and memorable getaway. Thank you!
