Our stay at Hanok Madang in Jeonju was truly wonderful. The property is set in an idyllic location, right across from a scenic river and charming bridge, which added to its tranquil and picturesque atmosphere. The hanok itself felt incredibly homey and comfortable, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. The hosts were exceptionally kind and genuinely welcoming, always eager to offer helpful recommendations about the area. They went out of their way to assist us, even waking up early to help book a cab for our departure. Traveling with my teenage daughter, we both felt very welcome and completely safe throughout our stay. I highly recommend Hanok Madang to anyone visiting Jeonju for a memorable and heartwarming experience.

The location was great - bus stop very close by and a short walk to Suncheon Bay. The owner was very kind, and the room was spacious and clean. The heated floor (ondol) was a very welcome surprise and the pension was very quiet. Altogether we had a great night's sleep and would come back again!!

Yasun Gallery is located in Gyeongju, just 7.7 miles from Gyeongju World and 11 miles from Seokguram. Both free Wifi and private parking are available at the vacation home free of charge.

I stayed for one night with two of my colleagues from Norway. The place is located at beautiful countryside just outside of Gyeongju city center. It takes about 10-15 taxi ride to most of the well known tourist attractions. The location was perfect for enjoying tranquil nature and culture of the area. At night there is absolutely no city noise and we enjoyed sounds of insects hanging out at the terrace. The inside is beautifully renovated to preserve the traditional beauty but provide comfort from modern facility. The best thing about this property is the hosts. The hosts are genuinely kind and caring. It was very interesting to have a chat during breakfast. Breakfast is also lovely, where most of the ingredients are homemade and self harvested by the host. We truly enjoyed our stay.

Arasol Pension offers a hot tub and spa facilities, as well as air-conditioned accommodations in Geoje, a 15-minute walk from Gujora Beach.

We absolutely fell in love with this pension! We stayed during the winter off-season and had the privilege of occupying the most beautiful ocean-view room all to ourselves. The view outside our window was absolutely breathtaking! The room itself was incredibly spacious and immaculately clean, furnished with elegant simplicity. The floor heating system worked perfectly, keeping the room cozy and warm throughout our stay. We also appreciated the well-equipped, spacious kitchen where we enjoyed cooking ramen. While the excellent facilities and amenities left us thoroughly impressed, the true gem of this pension is undoubtedly its wonderful host. She was incredibly hospitable, warm, and thoughtful. Whenever we messaged her asking for local dining and sightseeing recommendations, she responded promptly and efficiently. Her recommendations were detailed and carefully curated. The grilled fish and oyster restaurants she suggested offered exceptional value for money. We're particularly grateful for her helpful tips about ferry ticket discounts and luggage storage at the POW Camp. Thanks to her recommendations, our trip was filled with unforgettable memories. We will definitely recommend this pension to all my friends. If I have the chance to visit Geoje Island again, I would absolutely choose to stay here again, and I look forward to seeing the host's warm smile once more. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Beautiful, authentic hanok stay in Jeonju I’ve lived in the U.S. for over 40 years and visit Korea from time to time to see my family. On this trip, my Japanese friend from Seattle joined me—it was her very first time in Korea. I wanted her to experience something truly authentic, and staying in Jeonju Hanok Village was at the top of my list. I chose Jahayoen Hanok Stay, and it was absolutely perfect. The hanok was originally built in 1923 and has been beautifully remodeled, so it kept all the charm while still being clean, comfortable, and modern. The owner was wonderfully attentive and personally greeted us for both check-in and check-out, which made the stay feel even more special. The location is excellent—close to everything yet peaceful. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to experience a traditional Korean house with comfort and warmth.
