I loved everything about this property. I was already expecting it to be very nice but it was simply wonderful. The owner provided us with very useful and detailed information about the house, the surroundings and Bad Ischl before we travelled. The house itself was very beautiful inside with a lot of lovely details. The sofa in the living room and the beds were very comfortable. Everything that we could need was already thought of and provided. The garden and the surroundings were amazing. We would love to go back.

The host was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast was delicious and had a nice variety. The view from the property was absolutely stunning, and the room was spotless and very comfortable. Tanja and her team at Ferienhof Hinterstrasser were very welcoming especially after there was a booking.com error that deleted our reservation. They solved it all before our arrival. The breakfasts were exceptional! Eggs from the farm's chickens were cooked to order. Fresh milk from the farm's cows as well as homemade yogurt and butter were delicious. Tanja baked gluten-free bread for our friends and tinkered with the recipe each day until it was as good as the non-GF bread. Location was great for exploring hiking trails as well as Lake Mondsee. We arrived on public transportation and easily walked to / from the town center.
