The house is great, modern and clean, decorated in a nice style. Everything was very clean. There is also a large yard which makes it great for families with children. The house marries old-world charm with modern amenities—3 levels with a room on each (the bathroom is on the ground floor next to the first bedroom; there is a toilet next to the kitchen and living room on the second floor; and the top bedroom is a spacious converted attic with steep staircase access, but totally worth the climb). Upon arrival on a rainy, chilly fall evening, we found the house cozily warmed up ahead of time and a welcome gift waiting for us. The kitchen and amenities were great, our dog was accommodated for, and the communication with the host was super warm and completely effortless. The stay at Slona gives car access to the Old Town, and once inside, finding street parking was not a problem.
