The host was extremely friendly and caring. House was new, clean and comfortable. Place was easy to find although best to have a rental car for convenience of traveling. Fridge was spacious and large.

Tai’inu Bungalows was just perfect. Located close to the Base 1 snorkeling site, we enjoyed snorkeling and seeing gorgeous fish each day. It’s was a quick walk to the beach and to Cecil Hut for take away meals. Our hosts, Vaea and Marokii were exceptional. Vaea communicated well via email prior to our trip answering questions speedily. She also provided helpful tips for our visit. Marokii met us at our other accommodation with gorgeous flower leis and drove us to the market to purchase groceries for our stay. He also provided a large container of drinking water and came a second time to help us when we were running out of water. Marokii has a taxi service and gave us transport to the Pacific Resort for happy hour. He also has a boat transport business to take visitors to local motus and or on private snorkeling trips. They were gracious hosts and made our stay so comfortable. The bungalow was beautifully decorated. Bed and pillows were super comfortable. Shower had plenty of hot water, though a cool shower was welcome with the weather. We had all we needed to enjoy paradise on Aitutaki.

Kura our host was amazing! She was so lovely, friendly, accommodating, kind and helpful, and at the same time respectful of our space and privacy. Kura picked us up and dropped us off at the airport, and upon arrival gave us a short informative tour and info of the local area, which we really appreciated! We were also provided with lovely fresh fruit which was such a nice gesture by our host. The space itself had everything we needed for a 6 night stay, and we felt right at home in our little unit. The kitchen was fully equipped with full-sized fridge, oven, cooktop and microwave, and the outdoor laundry inclusive of washing powder, hanging line and clothes airer was such a bonus. The front yard was also beautifully kept and lovely to look out over in the late afternoons with a coffee/wine from the front decking area. The location of the unit was perfect for us - in a local neighbourhood area with a few lovely cafes/coffee shops nearby, close to the main town, a few minutes walk to the beach, but also not too far from the bigger resorts if required. We hired scooters for our stay, so the location meant we got to experience a more local feel, but could also get everywhere we needed to go very quickly and easily. 110% would stay here again next time we visit the beautiful Aitutaki!

Stayed 2 weeks in January. Across the street and 1/2 block from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. This place is a real find. Well constructed, modern and super clean. Covered porch with comfy chairs and a dining table. Perfectly appointed studio cabin with a well equipped full kitchen. A/C. Screened windows. Queen size bed. The back covered porch has a full size washer and clothes line. A real plus for Aitutaki is the strong free wifi. Your delightful host, Kura, will pick you up at the airport and take you to the grocery store if you need it. You can walk to the main small town but renting a scooter or car will let you explore this stunning island. Highly recommended.

Everything about our stay at Tai Marino Beach Bungalows was truly exceptional — it’s hard to describe that such a place and such wonderful hosts exist. From the airport pickup and a short excursion around the island to the many recommendations on where to go, we felt cared for and looked after the entire time. The property has only two beach bungalows, with plenty of space between them, so you always feel very private — unlike many other places where bungalows are built purely for commercial purposes and squeezed together to maximize income. The bungalow was very clean, equipped with mosquito nets, and everything was built, decorated, and arranged with love — you can feel it everywhere on the property. You have direct access to a beautiful beach right in front, with a great swimming area that is not too shallow. Next to the bungalow, there is a kayak and comfortable sun loungers provided. Tai Marino also organizes lagoon charters, which was another great experience because you get a personal tour around the Aitutaki islands with a very individual approach. We only wish we could have stayed longer and booked more trips with Tai Marino to explore more of beautiful Aitutaki without rushing. 10/10 — definitely one of the best places we have ever stayed.

Great location with a wonderful view!! The Villa was perfect for us and we appreciated the AC in the bedroom. The pool right outside our door was really nice, well maintained and perfect for a swim. We appreciated the lounges on the beach as well as the picnic table. Our breakfast was delivered each morning with a variety of fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, juice and bread for toast! Just perfect!
