She made us a good full English breakfast. Sooo quiet and peaceful with no cars in the village. The other guests were lovely -- all hikers walking the SW coast path.

ChileIt’s a lovely house and the landlords made the family feel at home the minute we stepped in. Double room for us downstairs and two adjacent bedrooms for our teenage children upstairs. Another couple was staying and we shared the drawing room/bar with them to watch the semi finals of Euro 2024. Very clean and pleasant home, great breakfast, good hiking, a few minutes by car to the beach.

A very welcoming and charming host. The cottage is quiet and cosy in the beautiful village of Chagford where the people are friendly, the scenery amazing and local walks take you into river valleys and up to the edge of Dartmoor. Really interesting local shops and cafes. One of the best cottages we've ever stayed at.

The environment is a fantastic heritage site with buildings ranging from a 6th Century Chapel - the oldest standing building in Devon - to 16th Century, 18th Century buildings and lovely thatched cottages clustered around a charming courtyard.

Location was idyllic. I never thought you could be so far away from it all in England. The cottage was very comfortable and was perfect for our family group. The hosts were as charming as the accommodation!

The holiday cottage was perfect for what we needed. It had all the facilities we needed and more. Comfortable beds and cosy living room. In the evenings it was nice to be able to watch Netflix and other platforms that were available on the tv which was a pleasant bonus. We were very thankful there was a travel cot provided and a high chair. The cottage grounds were peaceful and well kept and there was a nice little park for our toddler to play in. We Will definitely return in the future. Thank you 😊

A lovely cottage, sympathetically converted and comfortably furnished by the hosts, Kate and Ali. Perfect for a relaxing stay and ideally located with views across rolling countryside, but so convenient for Barnstaple and N.Devon attractions, beaches, etc. Always a pleasure to be greeted by the inquisitive alpacas next to the driveway and the curious calves in the field nextdoor!

Our hosts were very friendly and made us very welcome and we felt at home. The cottage was immaculate and cosy with beautiful views of the garden and surrounding countryside. Peace and quiet was had and well needed chill out time. We would recommend a visit to anyone who wants a place to stay away from the hustle and bustle of life.

Really lovely lodge....good location which afforded us some privacy. Spacious and comfortable.. well laid out and especially loved the hot tub and decking. The kitchen had everything we needed. The countryside itself is stunning which is evident during walks.

Old Seaways Mews is a comfortable place to stay, clean, tidy and spacious with a great view of the Devon countryside and a thatched cottage opposite. Easy access to the coastal path, local coastal villages as well as Shaldon and Teignmoth on the doorstep. Within easy reach of Dartmoor, Dartmouth, and the Devon Riviera. Great hosts with a warm welcome, we can highly recommend a stay at this delightful place.

Gorgeous cottage set within idyllic Devonshire countryside including a babbling river and miles of footpaths for walking the dog. Much bigger than looks in the photos and the double height space in the kitchen is a lovely space. Stocked with everything you need for a self-catered stay including a super comfy bed.
Extremely dog friendly owners and the cottage has a private (very pretty) garden (though it is not fully enclosed for a dog who likes to explore)
