The room is perfect and surprisingly quiet. We were above the restaurant and I expected it to be quite noisy but I slept like a baby. To be fair, I always carry ear plugs, but there have been plenty of places I have stayed and the noise permeates through them. I didnt hear a peep at Roccamaia. And about the restaurant - I know I am only an American, but I have eaten my way across Italy a few times and this is the best food I have EVER tasted in my life. Every dish was incredible and perfectly cooked. I now understand how people can die of gluttony. I was completely full and gadly would have ordered more just to keep tasting the food. The hosts were incredibly kind and thoughtful, very communicative and put on a fantastic breakfast. I cannot recommend this place enough.
