Perfect location. Every room faces the ocean. Rooms are quiet and clean. When you arrive you pick your beach chairs and they mark them with your room number so you never have to struggle to find a place on the beach. The beach is never crowded and the ocean is right there to go floating in. The little restaurant, The Gingerbread Cafe, is nice. Good food, good drink selection and the people are wonderful. The mini market has pretty much whatever you need and if it doesn't, Neelu can find it for you! The people here are what makes this place the best on the island. If you are looking for a party area, this isn't it, but if you are coming for peace and relaxation, this is the place for you!

Beautiful setting and views! And the staff totally epitomized friendly St Maarten. From front desk to all restaurant and pool venues they were great.

EVERYTHING and EVERYONE..
We had reservations at Bakers Suites to begin with but they lost our reservation two weeks before our vacation so thankfully we were able to book a room last minute at the Commodore and what a blessing. The Commodore Suites is fabulous, the staff Amazing, a full grocery/liquor store right below us with a fabulous buffet every day, all day with fantastic food and great prices. Perfect location with a view of the ocean on one end and the mountains on the other end.
Did I mention the rooftop pool with a treadmill in it. So fun.
Honestly, I can’t say enough good about the Commodore.
