The pictures do not do this boutique hotel justice. It is so well designed and the colors of the casitas, the coconut trees, and lush plants made it feel truly magical. We stayed in a Coco Casita and it felt so spacious. We ended up on the second floor of the casita instead of the first floor, and had amazingly high, beautiful ceilings with a ceiling fan and air conditioning. The little lizards that popped up on the path were quite intriguing.. they had amazing colors. It felt nice to be connected to nature right there next to the beaches and other resorts. We had an amazing time hanging by the pool as well. It was very calm and the other travelers that were drawn to this same place were relaxed and quiet. The Coco Cafe has great menu items and the dishes felt very well thought out and they were very delicious. The happy hour from 3-5 was a delightful part of the day. Many other guests would use the pool at this time and it felt so lively and refreshing.

Curaçao is a small island that is perfect for a relaxing trip of about 7 to 10 days. It's a wonderful place to unwind and enjoy the beaches and atmosphere. One thing to keep in mind is transportation. Public transportation is very limited—I hardly ever saw a public bus, and there were very few taxis. As a tourist, it's highly recommended to rent a car or a scooter to explore the island comfortably. Another thing I really loved was the incredible mix of cultures and languages. The island has a unique international vibe, and the warm tropical weather with high humidity is perfect if you enjoy getting a nice tan quickly!

One of my favorite spots in Oranjestad was Aruba Experience Café. It has such a warm, welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay longer than planned. The coffee is great, the food feels fresh and made with care, and there’s something very authentic about the whole place. It really gives you a taste of the island, not just in flavor but in atmosphere. Definitely a place I’d go back to.

Beautiful island as it’s on the Dutch side and location is close to everything even if you don’t drive. It’s walkable to restaurants stores and if you want to explore places taxi cost 10-15$ not too bad but if you can hire a car even better! Def coming back to Sint Maarten 🇸🇽 Took a day tour to explore both sides of the island and the city and that was great.

One of the most important things is to rent a car.

One of the most important things is to rent a car. Without it, each ride can cost around $25 USD, and distances are quite long. D&D Car Rental was excellent. I loved all the restaurants — the food in this country is really good. There's one called VISBOER, and I absolutely loved the red snapper. I highly recommend the beaches Kenepa and Porto Mari, as well as Mambo Beach and Papagayo. They're not only beautiful beaches but also great resorts — super fun and relaxing spots to visit!

We enjoyed our stay very much. The apartment had spectacular views of the ocean from every room. The location was another plus. It was a short walk to the beach, cafes/restaurants/bars, casino and nightlife. Plenty of transportation available in area. Our host reached out to us several times to make sure that we were ok. Would recommend to friends and family.

Philipsburg is a shopper's paradise - that is if you like watches, perfumes, and designer goodies. Shopping is easy and store keepers are friendly and patient - and there's plenty of shopping to be had! The town is very walkable and there are a few quaint, pictoral areas. While one might think Noord may be too far from the action and the beaches, they'd be wrong. Other than the Baby beach area everything is within 10-15 min drive. If a car rental is not in the cards, or you love constant hustle and bustle, then I suggest staying in town . But for those who like easy relaxing commutes the location is perfect.

I've been to several islands in the Caribbean, but Curacao has to be my favorite now. The city is fairly easy to navigate with GPS, a great variety of food options (I didn't have enough time to get to all on my list) but here are a few Soi95, The Pen, St. Tropez Ocean Club, Seaside Terrace, Dolfijinstraat, The Don's Food truck), so many beaches to visit all with their own character (Cas Abou, Playa Jeremi, Playa Lagun, Grote Knip) along with the National parks (Shete Boka, Christoffel) to spend time at, plus a variety of places for photo ops. I was single so a few activities I did (Curacao Liquerur/ATV Riding/City/Beach tour/Kura Hulanda Museum/Curacao Underwater World). I found Curacao to be a very safe place for singles, just use the same common sense awareness as you would at home and you'll be fine. Met other singles from the US, Germany, Netherlands and Belguim. The local community was very helpful me during my first couple of days navigating which was appreciated. The vibe of city, I just loved it. I'm planning a return trip within the year to finish exploring the things I didn't get to as 7 days wasn't enough time! Thanks for a great experience!
