The room was clean and comfortable. It included a terrace, which was a lovely place to sit when it was sunny. The location was perfect -- close to everything, yet a little off the main path, so it was quiet. The breakfast was excellent with many choices. The staff was exceptional -- very kind and helpful.

Basic but lovely hotel near downtown. We booked very last minute and got there late at night and the gentleman at the front desk was waiting for us upon arrival, helping us with parking and even offering to carry my luggage up the stairs. His kindness at this late hour was truly appreciated. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed, AC was a huge plus as we were in the middle of a heat wave. We had one of our best sleeps of the trip.

Staff very friendly. The hotel is in the heart of Nimes, near to the area on a quiet non-traffic street. Breakfast very good with large portions of bread individually cut and prepared on your own table and plentiful good coffee. The hotel notes say the rooms are on the third floor. To clarify, there a plenty of rooms on the second and third floors. They put our early checkin luggage in the room while we we out exploring the city. Very nice service.

The Grand Hôtel de Nîmes is a hotel-restaurant-convention hall complex that welcomes you in Nîmes, only 1.9 mi from the Arena.

Central Hotel is set in a renovated, 18th-century building, in the historical center of Nimes, right behind the ancient roman site, the Porte d’Auguste.
