Our stay at Tigmiza was absolutely exceptional. The entire property is stunning — everything is extremely well maintained, spotlessly clean, and constantly being cared for. There is always someone from the staff making sure that every detail is perfect. The food was magnificent, truly impressive in both quality and variety. The staff here is extraordinary — we enjoyed a high level of personal attention throughout our whole stay. They were incredibly kind and made us feel completely at home, while maintaining the highest level of professionalism. The property feels more like a fairy tale castle than a stereotypical riad. Tucked away in a quiet area, this place is a world of its own, with its unique architecture and interior design, friendly staff, birds chirping, and lots and lots of beautiful plants. Whether you’re just stopping by Ouarzazate for one night or want a retreat to find comfort, peace and quietness, this place would be 10 out of 10. Both dinner and breakfasts are of high quality, nicely prepared and presented. And the staff (Nadia), the manager (Mohammad),and the owner are all wonderful people. Catch the owner on your way out for a nice chat and tips on traveling in Morroco, all nicely presented on the map of their own! We will be back!

Location is the best. In the middle of the old city, yet in a side alley where you cannot hear the noise of the crowds. Breakfast is great as well. The first room I got was small but nice but then they moved me to a bigger room which was perfect.

Dar Bensouda is located in the heart of Fes’s Medina, just 15-minute walk from Batha Square. This riad offers rooms with attached bathroom, 2 courtyards and a swimming pool.

We had a great experience! We were warmly welcomed by Dar Bensouda staff, even though I came at a ridiculous hour of 5am. The hotel is built inside a 16th century buidling — the ceilings and the decor are amazing, and the room stays cool during the day even without an AC. And it was nice to chill by the pool after the heat of the streets outside.

I would give it a 11 if I could. This place is really close to the Medina, next to the Royal Palace, and really beautiful. But what really was outstanding was the staff. Mohamed and everyone really went the extra mile. I was in Morocco for my first visit to the country and I was unsure and a bit lost. And they took care of everything. Really, everything. They organized a pick up and drop off to the airport. They organized a guide for me and booked the perfect restaurant. I never had such a great staff in a hotel like I did here.
