We had a great experience! We were warmly welcomed by Dar Bensouda staff, even though I came at a ridiculous hour of 5am. The hotel is built inside a 16th century buidling — the ceilings and the decor are amazing, and the room stays cool during the day even without an AC. And it was nice to chill by the pool after the heat of the streets outside.

Everything was aesthetically pleasing. Mr Mohamed and Mr Idrees were of great help. The location was good. It's only around 200 m to the Parking Ain Azliten. ATM and most of the attraction was in reasonable walking distance. The place was surrounded with the small souvenir shops that have more reasonable price compare with the shop nearby the Blue Gate. The interior of the guest house was amazing. The room was small but the furniture's choices was great so even we can open our big luggage without problem. The bed was comfortable. Our room was being cleaned everyday, which is surprising for a guest house class. However, the best part from all were the staffs. All people were welcoming. The breakfast was made with love. Mr. Haddou was really helpful. He helps us to bought something in the market so we won't get scam. He help us with our baggage to the Blue Gate! He connect us with other guests that staying there too! So we can share our stories. Definitely a worth place to stay in Fes.

The welcoming of the property managers Mohammed and Mahdi was out of this world. They were truly hospitable, always available and helpful with any request or questions. I would definitely go back there because of how they treated us. Those young men deserve a raise for how they manage the Riad and its guests.

The stay was great! A perfect location in the Medina which was near everything but gave us a little breathing room from the chaos of the lower Medina. The staff were excellent, breakfast was good, and the building is beautiful. Couldn’t be happier!

The Riad is in the Medina so you feel right in the heart of the city. The house itself is magical. It has been in the same family for 4 generations and is obviously much loved. Full of traditional items and in a classical Riad design with courtyard. Our host was charming and helpful and speaks several languages.

I live in Morocco, and this is one of the coolest, best places I have stayed. You are transported to another era here. The bed was very comfortable, of course the staff was great - and a nice hot shower. There was no sounds from the medina that night, and the breakfast and coffee were terrific. A serious hidden gem.

This riad is stunning. The design and architecture of the place is really breathtaking. It can be a little tricky to find (although once you notice the signs, you can’t go wrong), but this just adds to the charm. All the staff are great and the views from the roof are amazing. The breakfast is quality and I also ate here one evening which wasn’t cheap but it was a feast. No regrets. I really can’t speak too highly of this place. It’s incredible.

The Riad is a lovely accommodation - the room is big, with a view towards the beautifully decorated internal courtyard, a comfy bed and a nice sitting area. The bathroom is fairly big and nicely designed. The staff was extremely responsive and helped us with all our needs - the airport transfer, a tour etc. Particularly enjoyable is the view from the rooftop during breakfast.
