The farmhouse is a bit out of town. Go to the end of the dirt road and you will see it. Our room was on the top floor has been completely redone, and it was huge and beautiful! The young owners are so nice. They even made a dinner reservation for us at Cote Cour, in the nearest larger town Azay-Le-Rideau, about 15 minute drive. I wish we could have stayed longer.

The home was historic and beautiful. Location was both central and private. Bedroom and bathroom were large and comfortable. Alex was a warm and friendly hostess.

Beautiful property in a quaint village. Breakfast was delicious, room was well appointed and comfortable. We had a lovely patio to sit out and enjoy a glass of wine. Spa facilities were clean and welcoming.

Escale de Loire is located in Chouzé-sur-Loire, just 1.5 miles from Chateau des Réaux and 5.3 miles from Chateau de Montsoreau.

Our host Sébastien was first class. Made us very welcome and provided an excellent breakfast. The decor was très chic, the location at 20 meters from the Loire could not be bettered with a bar adjacent.
