Location is perfect for walking everywhere. That little terrace was wonderful for us. Kitchen has everything you might need. Host is very kind and helped us with everything. Definitely stay again.

Chios is so much more than its wonderful beaches and nature and people, carrying incredible history and lore all throughout the island. The Kambos area is no exception, with its beautiful stone architecture and wonderful citrus groves. Archontiko Riziko, only a short drive or taxi journey away from the airport or port, was a very soothing, comfortable place to relax and recover from the usual hustle and bustle of life. Breakfasts were plentiful and hearty, and it was so very nice to enjoy them in the spacious, peaceful patio outside next to the cooling fruit trees. The owner, who clearly and understandably takes great, well-earned pride in the property, was generous with his knowledge of the buildings and area, eagerly sharing insider tips, and taking proactive measures to care for his guests. Our room in the main building was very clean, comfortable, and based on our consistently sound sleeps every night, it's fair to say that the bed was equally so. There's something calming and grounding about the stone work throughout the property, and we very much appreciated the fact that the beautiful walls in our room were not plastered over. We lucked out with the weather during our stay - warm during the days but juuuuust right at night, with consistent, cool evening breezes, eliminating any need for air conditioning. Because of the thoughtfully installed window screens, we were gently woken up each morning by the bells of the neighboring church, warmly nudging us out of bed each morning. Parking was plentiful and convenient, but given the availability and ease of arranging taxis all throughout the island, don't hesitate to arrange your stay here even without a car.

clean and perfect location and excellent breakfast

Absolutely everything. And i am not exaggerating. Having spent 1/3 of my life staying in various hotels around the globe, this is one of the few i count in one hand that ticks all the boxes. From the facilities, to the location, the staff, all the way up to the owner!

Buffet breakfast is really good with lots of options. Location is very convenient and 1-2 mins from airport. Always nice having a seaview room.

This was by far the most wonderful hotel of our honeymoon trip. Since we visited at the end of the season, the hotel surprised us with an incredible upgrade to a suite with a private pool. We felt truly cared for from the moment we arrived. In our room, we were welcomed with a bottle of sparkling wine, chocolates, and a beautiful fruit platter. They were even thoughtful enough to provide a non-alcoholic wine option, which we really appreciated. The atmosphere was so romantic – the bed was decorated with fresh rose petals and there was a lovely sign wishing us a happy honeymoon. They continued to spoil us with many thoughtful gifts, including a relaxing couple’s massage. The attention to detail and the kindness of the staff made our stay unforgettable. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Samos, and there is no doubt we will stay at Proteas Blu Resort again. Thank you for making our honeymoon so special!

Beautiful building, beautiful view, friendly staff, great breakfast around the pool

Hotel is so clean and everything is new and in a good condition (especially linens and towels are really good). Kitchen is full of basic needs(plate, glass, fork, spoon, pan etc.) We dont see any mosquito in room but there are some at garden at night. Staff speak English well. Extras like drinks are in affordable prices

The employees were very friendly, caring and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool is small but very clean. The location of the rooms is good, I think most rooms have sea and pool views. I ate from the snack bar and it was delicious. Everything was perfect.
