We are a traditional family dedicated to making our guests welcome, feel at home and comfortable at our traditional family run guesthouse mansion in the secluded Kambos in the outskirts of Chios town on Chios island, Greece. We aim to be helpful, accommodating, friendly yet discreet towards our guests, eager to teach them about Chios, our products and traditions should they be interested, whilst we like to run our operations both in our farm and guesthouse mansion in harmony with the environment. Of Greek and Canadian origin, we have experienced life abroad and are greatful to have now the opportunity to receive guests at our renovated mansion guesthouse in Chios and honoured to introduce them to the more relaxed life pace and daily pleasures in Greece. The "Mouzaliko" is a unique family run bed & breakfast guesthouse mansion, located in the upmarket Kampos area; 5 kilometres from the centre of Chios town and 2 kilometres from the airport and the nearest beach. Dating back to the 19th century and originally an aristocratic Genovese summer mansion, it was fully renovated in 2009 with the aim of providing quality tourist accommodation whilst preserving a unique family atmosphere. It consists of only 5 private rooms and suites - 2 of which can accommodate families of 4 or 5 persons, and 3 double rooms, decorated in the traditional style with all modern amenities for your comfort. The "Mouzaliko", built of wood and stone in the characteristic style of the Genovese mansions of the secluded Kampos area featuring stone pillars, a wheelwell and water pool and impressive arched gates, is situated on 7 acres of stonewalled private land, surrounded by a peaceful orchard of orange, tangerine and lemon trees. Products grown in its own orchard are used in the preparation of the delicious home made buffet breakfast treats.

Kampos is a unique historical residential area, in the outskirts of Chios town, on Chios island, where back in Genovese times, the local aristocrats built their summer mansions amidst their extensive private orchards. The area is a patchwork of secluded properties reknown for its architectural style; each property is a large walled estate consisting of extensive gardens and citrus orchards, farm buildings and usually a large stone built mansion house commanding over the property. Traditional to the area are unique features such as water wheels and cisterns, archways, large exterior staircases build of the characteristic red green stone of the area. Kambos is a sort of a paradise garden, especially in spring and summer, when the discreet aroma emanating from the citrus orchards combines with the scents of jasmine and nightflower traditionally found in the local gardens, creating a magical environment under the clear stary Greek skies, teasing the senses and relaxing the mind. Conveniently located in the centre of the island, within easy reach of Chios town, the airport, port and some of the best known beaches on the island, it is the ideal location for your holiday.
