One of the most beautiful accommodations we stayed at in Brazil. A charming outdoor dining area set in a wonderful garden with a swimming pool, where on some days we didn’t even feel like leaving to explore. The location is perfect – everything is close, yet it’s peaceful and away from tourist crowds. And it is always superclean! Our apartment had everything one could possibly need, and when I mentioned that blackout curtains for the windows and doors would be appreciated, the owner ordered them immediately and they were installed within three days! Incredible! What truly makes this place exceptional, though, are the owner Athy and Eduardo. They are incredibly friendly, always happy to help and give advice, and thanks to them you feel like part of their family from day one. I’d give eleven stars out of ten and would definitely come back. Guys, thank you so much – you’re the best!

Small cozy place, familiar, in a quiet street, where you can hear the birds when wake up. Room is new build, sparkling clean, with a good air conditioning, small refrigerator, TV, excellent king-size bed and an good shower. There´s a small parking lot (no extra-cost) just in front of the room, making it easy to carry luggage. Breakfast is also excellent, and staff friendly. The location is ok: near Buzios entrance, 5mins away from Geribá beach (by car), walking distance to two markets (Hortifrutti and Extra), Aldeia da Praia mall (where you can find some good restaurants) and Manguinhos beach. Will for sure return very soon.

I chose the pousada for 1) its location, 2) the rate, 3) the likelihood of more Brazilian clients (i.e., away from the hyped-up resort type of pousadas), and 4) the reviews. The reviews mostly praised the friendliness of the staff. That was definitely a selling point. I could not agree more. The staff is excellent throughout the entire facility: polite, willing to help immediately, has a good sense of humor, and always smiles. Plus, the pousada was quiet at night for a relaxing sleep.

Best breakfast buffet! Great view of ocean. Nice pool area. Rooms are nice- standard. Bathroom has nowhere to hang towels after use. Surprised such a rich looking/feeling to a hotel doesn't offer basic toiletries.T
