It was the best hostel I ever stayed in! The place was clean, just next to the ski slopes. Fantastic spacious room with a private balcony with a view of Mont Blanc towering above. It was a room upgrade otherwise we wouldn't have experienced this - it was wonderful. Hotel run by young people, all friendly and extremely helpful - friendly young woman told us how to get into Chamonix (bus right outside which was great) and supplied a card which allowed us to ride the buses for free (due to having paid the local taxes). Noticed they did packed lunches for folk getting up early to hike. Comfy bed and good breakfast.

The appartment was very specious, with a well equiped kitchen, two showers and two toilets. Amazing view of the mountains from the small yard. The place is about ~2km from the center of chamonix, in a more quiet area. This was perfect for us, since we prefer the more quiet location. There's a small grocery stores 2 minutes walking from the apartment, and a few restaurants.
