Location is about as central as you can get. Our balcony overlooking Ermou was really nice, and despite being on a main street the double doors kept out the noise. The water pressure and shower were excellent. Breakfast was good, too. We only stayed for one night, but we enjoyed it very much and the hotel was comfortable, clean, had everything we needed.

I visited Greece for the first time from April 16-25 and stayed at the NJV Athens Plaza from 16–20 April 2026, and again from 23–25 April 2026 after returning from an excursion to Meteora. I could not have been more pleased with my choice for my first visit to Athens. The location is exceptional—elegant, safe, and highly convenient. The hotel sits right by Syntagma Square, on the same block as the King George and the Hotel Grande Bretagne. The National Parliament is just steps away, and the hotel provides easy access to all the major attractions, including the Acropolis, Acropolis Museum, National Gardens, Hadrian’s Arch, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Benaki Museum, Ermou Street, Monastiraki, the Ancient and Roman Agoras, as well as Plaka and Anafiotika, and many others. Service was impeccable throughout. Shortly after confirming my booking, the Front Office Team reached out to me to assist with pre-arrival arrangements, including airport transfers. (The hotel also offers convenient online pre-arrival check-in and pre-departure check-out.) The Team were consistently warm, professional, and attentive—whether assisting with directions, facilities, or restaurant reservations. Special thanks to Maria, Nikos, and Naxos for their outstanding service. For my first stay, I had booked a room with an Acropolis view and was pleasantly surprised by a thoughtful upgrade on arrival, which I greatly appreciated. For my second stay, I had booked a suite. Both were spacious, clean, very comfortable, and offered excellent views. The breakfast spread was equally impressive, with a wide and generous selection. This will certainly be my hotel of choice whenever I return to Athens. Show less

Great location, comfortable, excellent breakfast

Great location, nice for families with kids.

Location. - close to lots of restaurants, local shops and chain stores. 7-8 mins walk to two major metro stations and direct bus to airport. 10-15 mins walk to acropolis, and many other key sites and museums. Room is comfortable and good size. Bathroom is similar to North American standard. Breakfast is excellent- buffet style and order to cook. Front desk and dining room staffs are friendly helpful. Especially Savvas who helped us a lot. Highly recommend.

The location is the best one, just in the heart of Athens. Breakfast was also good. The girl staff of the reception was very great, they helped with the heavy luggage. The rooms were big and comfortable.

Beautiful facilities with great staff. The view from the rooftop bar was beautiful and the room was also stunning. The room had amazing AC and lots of space. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the cleaning was great.
