The hotel is in an excellent location! The neighborhood is quiet—much needed after a long busy day in Rome. Very close to testaccio market and other supermarkets like a Carrefour express. The bathroom was spacious and clean. The amenities and snacks were very generous. Host is communicative and friendly. Thank you!!

We had a wonderful stay here. The property was quiet, clean, and cosy, and the host was very welcoming and forthcoming. The apartment had everything a family of four would need without going into excesses — dishes, dishwasher, washing machine, iron, coffee machine, stove and cooking utensils. The property is in a quiet residential area. There are a handful of cafes, supermarkets (2-minute walk) and restaurants to visit. If you're looking for more, very close and convenient public transport will take you to your chosen destination — a 2-minute walk and a 5-minute bus ride will take you to Trastevere for more options and nighttime fun. We had zero problems reaching other, further destinations (Monti, the Colosseo, Trevi, the Vatican, Villa Borghese etc.). Don't expect a five-star hotel, but an apartment swap — we love places with character :)

Set in the characteristic Trastevere district, Guest House Esty is less than 5 minutes by tram from Trastevere Train Station and Rome's historic center. An Italian sweet breakfast is provided daily.

Great location, super clean and really comfy! I was travelling alone and felt totally safe the whole time. The two ladies who run the place were so lovely and kind to me. Would definitely recommend, especially for solo traveler girls!

This place was a pleasant surprise!! We even thought it was too good to be true! We were a little suspicious of the few reviews but it’s because it’s a new structure. Everything is brand new, the bed is sooooo comfortable we only got up in the mornings because Rome is so incredible we had to see it. Breakfast is amazing, a sandwich, croissants and other pastries, coffee, cereal, yogurt, juice… the staff was so lovely, specially Margherita, who received us so well, gave restaurant’s recommendations we loved and made us feel right at home. I could not recommend more!!!
