The place was very clean and had some good facilities. Nice sit out areas across the property. The property is very close to the beach. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast presentation was outstanding. The staff even packed us a takeaway breakfast as we were leaving early for the airport.

Maria's Guest House was a beautiful building right in the centre of the Old Town. My room on the first floor was recently refurbished with a brand new spacious bathroom. The beach is a short stroll away and there are loads of lovely cafes and restaurants within seconds walk. Maria herself was the most wonderful host, we spent some time chatting before I left and it was so lovely.

Everything about Havana Hostel exceeded my expectations. The staff were genuinely welcoming, attentive, and always happy to help. The owner has created something truly special—it’s clear that every detail has been carefully thought out. The facilities were spotless, modern, and well maintained, with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore Albufeira while still enjoying a relaxed atmosphere. This place sets a completely new standard for the hostel lifestyle. I travel frequently, and this is one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed in.

This is an incredible apartment. It is close to the beach, restaurants and shopping yet on a quiet street. You do not hear the noise from the bars and restaurants. The balcony gets amazing sunsets. The apartment is fully equipped and the kitchen has everything you need. The beds were comfortable. It also has the added bonus of an indoor parking spot and a BBQ. We loved it!

Haris was an amazing host. He was kind enough to pick us up from the train station and drive us to the apartment. He took the time to chat with us and shared recommendations on things to do and places to dine upon our arrival. He was also happy discussing life and cultures with us. He brought some delicious figs from his farm for us to enjoy on our journey. We would love to come back and have him host us again!
