Great breakfast, great location, wonderful staff

The staff is very kind. The attention to detail is remarkable. The property is very charming. The food is delicious and very traditional. The location is also excellent.

The room was huge with a beautiful view of the river! The bathroom was a pretty good size with a amazing shower. The kitchen and refrigerator held all the food and drinks we needed for our stay. The bed and was very comfortable and fits 2.

Very big and nice room. Esther is very very kind and helpful and a great person to have a conversation with.

This is a super comfortable apartment in a convenient location — walkable to groceries and eateries, as well as to two train lines. The apartment has reserved off-street parking and all the comforts and amenities of home. The owner provided clear instructions (with pictures) of where to find all needed elements.

The place is nice and quiet, with highly hospitable staff who know how to deal with customers. The breakfast is enjoyable, and the privacy for families is a plus. I highly recommend this nice place.

The staff was very friendly. The location was exceptional with the view of the lake and mountains.

Proximity to downtown Thalwil and the railway station was wonderful. Two grocery stores were near by for any food necessities..

The breakfast was very good with variety's of fresh baked, , meats fruit , yogurt, eggs, coffee tea

We’re a family of 3 and We stayed for 5 nights. The hotel was cozy and superb in every aspect. the staff were very kind and welcoming. the room was big enough and clean, not to mention the beautiful view of lake Zürich from the balcony. breakfast was fresh and diverse Room service was fast The hotel provided us everything we need for our child to make us comfortable I would definitely recommend staying at Alex Lake hotel. For me, Alex Lake will be my first choice whenever i am visiting Zürich again

To cut a long story short: I slept like a baby. It was so quiet and the entire atmosphere gave me so much peace of mind, that I can highly recommend a stay. The staff was extremely friendly and supportive and I felt welcomed the moment I opened the door. What a wonderful stay- Thank you!

Beautiful historic building right on the lake front. Excellent friendly helpful staff especially Claire. Cozy lounge. Delicious restaurent where Thomas Mann, Vladamir Lenin and Carl Jung atr. Museum quality art and furnishings. Walking distance to Jung Institute and easy access to train station. Wonderful view. It is not just famous hotel, it is an experience.

Personal available, oriented client, room clean, calm, bed very comfortable. Also like little fridge with free snacks inside! Just near train and bus station
