Family hotels and homes in Stanwell

It's a lovely homestay, quite close to Heathrow Airport. In this Homestay room you have all the amenities of a Hotel room. The Host was also very accomodating and helpful in figuring out how the heater worked.

This is my second stay at the Opal Lux - I love this place. It's convenient for my purposes, though may not be for everyone. The parking can be challenging due to its location on a junction but well worth it. Everything is secure & monitored by CCTV. Maria is quick to respond to any/all messages. Previously I'd stayed during warmer weather, I had concerns it might be chilly this visit, but was proved wrong. It was warm and cozy throughout my 5 day stay. All appliances, decor and shower room (With large dispensers of toiletries) are high end - has the feel of a hotel suite. Amazing selection of herbs/spices to use (I cook extensively when staying at Airbnb's). Thoughtful touches like robes & slippers, tea, coffee, biscuits & bottled water. The bed is SO comfy, plus it's really quiet given it's proximity to LHR. this part of Stanwell isn't on the flight path (that'll change when the new runway is built). The Wifi was slightly unreliable - not something that happened on my first visit. But Maria was prop active and the issue was intermittent. Whenever returning to the area this is the first property I research (sadly it's usually booked). Highly recommended

What a wonderful stay in a great room with lovely people! Our stay was perfect: everything was clean, well-appointed, and ready to go. The room was great and the included bathroom is really nice. It was easy to walk there from the train station. The hosts could not have been lovelier! We happened to arrive on the hottest day of the year, and they went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of, and even gave us some free bottled waters on arrival. They were so easy to communicate with, so kind, and so generous, and even offered a few other services we didn't expect for a small fee. Really, really great hospitality! Can't recommend them enough. Thank you so much!

The location. A few minute walk to the train station. Great coffee shops nearby.

Lovely house for 1 night, used to go Thorpe Park

Room was clean and very comfortable with a very superb spacious. Location was strategic to stay when you fly on the next day. Very close to terminal 4 and easy to get to other terminal via train service

Exceptionally convenient, super easy to access, reachable in 10m from exit

Clean and quiet. Ensuite bathrooms for each bedroom are excellent.

Located very nearby to the LHR , if you have flights to catch on , this is the best location to stay.

Clean, big, and the staff were very kind and professional.

The staff was beyond kind and professional… from checking in to restaurant staff to the simple good mou from housekeeping.

The service in general, the breakfast and the pool was great!

It’s an amazing place. Always feels like home. Everything is within reach and the staff are always ready and willing to help. Breakfast is perfect and you get access to everything you need. You just have to ask!

Wonderful experience at this hotel. Staff are professional and friendly. Rana checked in for me with a warm welcome. He did provide quick response in a professional manner for fixing a couple of room's issues. And Hilda from the restaurant is also very nice and helpful with a sweet smile. Thank you for everything ❤️
