Family hotels and homes in Hiroshima

The hotel is nicely located between the Peace Memorial Park and the train station. While walking toward one of the most tragically known landmarks on the planet, one can enjoy the covered street with businesses like restaurants, bars, arcades, shops, etc. The hotel staff is very accommodating and the rooms nice and neat.

I was travelling with my husband. We enjoyed everything about this hotel. The location at the bay, the food at the fantastic restaurant with a wonderful view. They have a great buffet breakfast and a very good dinner or lunch buffet. The staff is very friendly and helpful and we loved so much the onsen. Very convenient the ferry to Miyajima just in front of the hotel. I would absolutely reccomand. There is also a regular bus to down-town city just in front of the hotel.

Amazing hotel, with comfortable and clean rooms, a very good restaurant in the first floor, and a rooftop bar (for which you even get some coins to use). The staff was very kind, and the location is great.

Staff were friendly and so accommodating; there was adequate space to store bags prior to check-in; there were lots of toiletries and items of convenience; the view was pleasant looking out over the hills; the location was so handy being right above the train station.

Location to the train station was amazing!

The hotel is located nearby the train station (but you need a taxi ride to get to the hotel). Everything is walking distance. The staff was very helpful: when we asked to find us a place to eat in the evening, they called several places to arrange a dinner for a group of four. There is a bit of a queue in the morning for breakfast, but breakfast is very delicious, and hotel provides multiple options during the day (wine from 6, some food in the evening, tea and coffee during the day) free of charge.

very well situated in Hiroshima. Quite a lot of restaurants nearby and a cute shoping street. also good for night life, and a Konbini just down the road !

I loved staying at Mercure. The location is excellent and provides easy access to everything. Our room was clean, comfortable, and very nice. The complimentary breakfast was delicious, and the staff were friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. I would definitely stay here again and wouldn't hesitate to come back.

Everything was perfect!! the room and the facilities were amazing. The staff were so nice. The location was perfect, near the train station and to the centre.

Bed: Slightly firm in a good way - not soft and saggy. Spacious enough for two people by jap standards. Bathroom: Standard. Location: Great - quick walk from station with various convenience stores downstairs/nearby. Unfortunately nothing much nearby (<5mins), you do need to venture out a bit by tram to access the shops/restaurants. Tram stop just behind the hotel so very convenient.

Huge bathroom loving it. Breakfast was great, many option to try. Also have 7-Eleven on the first floor.

What an exceptional place to stay and it definitely exceeded our expectations. The Hotel is not far too far from Hiroshima Train Station so after getting off the bullet train, an easy bus ride or taxi. It is also not too far from the Hiroshima Pease Memorial, so very accessible. The hotel is beautiful, the staff friendly and extremely welcoming. We were located on the 16th floor and had fantastic views across Hiroshima. The room was larger than expected, had everything we could have wanted and was absolutely beautiful. The bar area is amazing with a great selection of cocktails. The buffet breakfast was fantastic, could not have been better nor provided more options (you just want to keep eating). No expense has been spared to make this an amazing world class hotel. We really felt pampered. I do however have a negative.....I wish we had stayed here longer (we only had one night). They do really look after you and I cannot recommend this Hotel enough.

It offers a sleek, apartment-style stay that feels much more like a home than a hotel. Perfect for a Family of 5 The rooms here are a masterclass in modern, functional design. Space & Layout: We stayed in a room with a smart bunk bed configuration (two queens and two upper singles). It gave everyone their own space without feeling crowded. Amenities: Having a private kitchenette and an in-room washing machine was a lifesaver for a family stay. Being able to handle a quick load of laundry or prep a simple breakfast made our trip so much smoother. Modern Vibe: The decor is clean and contemporary, with plenty of USB charging ports and thoughtful lighting—details that a tech-savvy family really appreciates! Location: Close to Everything The hotel is located in a quiet but incredibly convenient pocket of Hiroshima. Transport: It's about a 7–10 minute walk from JR Hiroshima Station, making it very easy to manage with luggage. Sightseeing: You are steps away from the Mazda Zoom-Zoom Stadium (great atmosphere on game days!) and within easy reach of the main shopping districts. The Peace Memorial Park and Atomic Bomb Dome are just a quick tram or bus ride away. Essentials: There are convenience stores and a Costco nearby, which is handy if you want to stock the fridge. The Verdict For families who want more than just a place to sleep, FAV Hiroshima Stadium offers the space and modern facilities to actually "live" in the city comfortably. It’s easily one of the most family-friendly stays we’ve found in Japan.
