I liked that the switch for the lights and the thermostat were right on the bedside. I also liked the background music the TV played while on. It was very relaxing.

Kaike Fuga provides a hot spring bath and free private parking, and is within a 4-minute walk of Kaike Onsen Beach and 12 miles of Mizuki Shigeru Road.

Great location, few steps away from kaike onsen kanko center bus stop. Service staff are very helpful. 5 mins walk to the beach. Food was very good, lots of variety.

Welcoming staff, great room, nice (but busy) onsen. The breakfast even included crab. Overall, excellent hotel at very reasonable cost.

Yukibou Hakusen offers a sauna and a hot spring bath, as well as air-conditioned accommodations in Yonago, a few steps from Kaike Onsen Beach.

We loved relaxing in our own private onsen overlooking the sea at sunrise! The room was large with both indoor and an outdoor seaview sitting areas in addition to the outdoor onsen. The staff are incredibly helpful and friendly, helping us pick out our yukata (lovely) and calling a taxi for our departure. In the lobby, you get a free welcome drink, and coffee and tea are always available as you enjoy the view of the coast. We also enjoyed walking along the coast on the path right outside the hotel. It was the perfect getaway!

Ooedo Onsen Monogatari Kaike provides a sauna and free private parking, and is within a few steps of Kaike Onsen Beach.

Shokinkan is a truly magical place operated by incredible people. Nestled in a gorgeous, ancient temple complex, the grounds are extremely fun to hike/explore during the day, with plenty of opportunities to learn about the history of the place through thoughtful signage and the wonderful staff. The food was absolutely delicious - we were eating a feast of unique foods specially prepared for us every evening and morning, which made the experience epic. Okami-san and everyone else here gregariously welcomed us with cups of beautiful matcha, and even shuttled us to and from Yasugi station and to the Adachi Museum of Art. I will never forget this place!

A recently renovated apartment, Guest House Tatara offers accommodations in Yasugi. This apartment provides free private parking, bicycle parking, and free Wifi.

Place was really spacious. Two rooms with kitchen is very reasonable at that price . Loved the lake view which could be seen from window . Every thing was available there so really loved it . Beds were really nice . Staff was very polite and was very helpful. If you can’t speak Japanese it is fine . Very peaceful place

This is a gem in the mountains not to be missed. There was tea and a snack waiting for us every afternoon in our room. We could see the beautifully carved temple and gardens from our room window. The meals were delicious! Many little dishes to make your mouth water served in our private dining room by the hosts who were exceedingly polite and friendly and explained what everything was. The baths could be taken privately with a partner. The bath was very clean as were the accommodations. A short hike to the top of the mountain gave beautiful views of the ocean and the Daisen volcanic mountain. This also went by the beautiful temple, which offers meditation sessions. There were two small stores nearby selling delicious sweets nearby. We cannot say enough good things about kouyoukan ryokan and it's hosts! A wonderful place to slow down and relax.

Fukumakan offers accommodations in Matsue, 7 miles from Mizuki Shigeru Road and 19 miles from Lafcadio Hearn Memorial Museum. The ryokan has access to a restaurant.
