Amazing stay! So peaceful and lovely. The staff are all so sweet and helpful and the food is some of the best we’ve had in Cambodia. Especially the Amok. Only regret is not staying here longer.

Incredible stuff, they did everything for us from A to Z , can not describe how good people they are , the louvre villa was fantastic, the views and green fields are breathtaking, the decorative villa was nice , breakfast was testy , everything was cool

The location is great, the facilities are good and clean. And most of all, the staff are the nicest, most helpful and most friendly that I have experienced in Kampot. They are not pushy or intrusive but still are very hospitable when you do have an inquiry. I can't express enough how pleasant my experience has been staying here. Also, if you have a pet, I would recommend here even more. My dog has been very happy and I didn't feel unwelcome when walking her

We stayed 6 nights. Our room was spacious and lovely. I asked for a quiet room. Paolo the owner was very kind to upgrade our room. The breakfast and view of the river on the first floor was wonderful.

We stayed over the weekend, as Kampot is always one of our favourite getaway destinations. This time, we chose Chateau Kampot because it is a new and visually appealing property. From the outside, the colonial-style building stands out beautifully, and once inside, it offers a warm, nostalgic atmosphere. We booked a Deluxe Room, which turned out to be very spacious—much better than we expected. The bed was incredibly comfortable; the moment we lay down, we completely relaxed. The bathroom was also spacious, though the hot water took about two minutes to warm up. The staff were truly the highlight of our stay—friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Breakfast was good and sufficient for us, though it could benefit from a wider variety of options.

Clean spacious room, amazing value for money, a short walk from the centre. Good banana pancakes. Friendly owners that helped us book a tour and bus tickets to Phnom Penh. I liked that we could fill up our water bottles whenever we wanted.

Wonderful treehouse accommodation. Beautiful location and sunsets. Great restaurant and service. Fantastic staff. A very restful place in a tropical environment. Very rustic. Highly recommend.

3rd floor family room nothing to complain all good for one night stay.

rooms were good and staff real nice. got a pool and bbq too. super easy to hang out with everybody and the place aint hard to find at all.

RIvertree is an unbelievable experience. The rooms are perfect, the staff are all outstanding and the food superb. We loved everything about the resort. It is a little way out of Kampot but it is simply 5 star. I’m not sure the photos on booking.com do it justice ! Beds are very comfortable and the rooms are lovely and clean. Breakfast choice was great and the lunch and dinner menu good. We would highly recommend and I do hope we are lucky enough to return one day. Thank you.

Exactly what I wanted, out of town, quiet. Easy to get to town 15mim $2 or rent your own bike. The food was amazing and I had a most meals here. No aircon in room but more than enough fans I had 3 inside and 1 outside The staff were amazing and extremely helpful. Thank you so much Monika !!!!! I would have stayed an extra evening but the were fully booked

I was moving from Siem Reap to Kampot and they found a way to store my things while I got a house. The service was great and the food delicious. Nice gardens and atmosphere.

I booked this resort on my own without seeing any ads on social media, and I’m so glad I did ✨. From the moment I arrived, everything exceeded my expectations. The atmosphere felt peaceful and private, making it the perfect escape from the busy outside world 🍃🤍 The only issue was with my booking date—I accidentally booked for August 😭, which was three months later. I honestly thought everything was ruined, but the receptionist handled the situation with so much professionalism and kindness 🥹💓. He quickly helped rearrange new dates and even found another room for me without making the process stressful at all ✨ When night came, we went to the swimming pool , ordered some drinks 🍹, and requested a few Lana Del Rey songs 🎶. The bartender ended up playing the entire playlist for us, which made the atmosphere feel even more magical and relaxing 🌌💫 We spent the night swimming, listening to music, and simply enjoying the moment 🫶🏻. It was such a simple experience, yet it became one of the most memorable parts of our stay 🥰🤍 That small act of care made my stay even more memorable and showed me what genuine hospitality truly feels like 💌✨ Thank you, Bong 🌷

The pool area at this hotel is beautiful, especially in the evening time when the sun is setting. My room was huge and very comfortable. Restaurant served nice food and the staff were friendly.

This is a relaxing and beautiful location with wonderful, attentive staff. There are two well-kept swimming pools and beautiful grounds. The restaurant has a varied and reasonably priced selection. On checkout, I had forgotten a couple of useful items, and had given them up as lost. The day after check-out I was contacted by the hotel asking how they could return those items to me. The hotel arranged return to my location in Phnom Penh. Extraordinary customer service, above and beyond!

Very nice hostel with nice common area. Some what social but not a party hostel. The staff behind the bar is really fun, helpful and nice to talk to.

Took my family there and the staff was AA performance and provided us great service. Having a pool free breakfast bar and restaurant right there next to the pool was absolutely perfect. I will definitely be back here to stay again in the future.

A special thank you to Ly Bei on reception, attention to detail was amazing calling us by our names every time she saw us, addressing our every need with a smile, she was incredible also So Pheak in the restaurant again super nice and very attentive making sure we got everything we needed. By far the best hotel we have stayed in Cambodia. The room, the pool & everything about this hotel was brilliant.

Staying at this stunning, greenery-filled resort felt like a magical experience. We were completely immersed in the peaceful embrace of nature. Although the road to get there was a bit of an adventure, the moment we arrived, we were awed by the vast, open spaces and the wide range of activities. Our child especially loved the swimming pool and water slide, making the stay even more memorable. Our suite, with its breathtaking view of the serene rice fields, offered a unique connection to nature—something we’ve never experienced at any other resort in the world. While nearby dining options are limited, the resort made everything effortless by arranging transportation into town, just 15 minutes away. However, we chose to enjoy an exclusive dinner at one of their rooftop venues. In fact, the resort offers several fantastic dining options beyond their outstanding restaurant. This hidden gem is truly worth discovering, though it may not appeal to those who prefer the fast pace of city life.

We had a truly pleasant stay with Soriya and her family. Soriya and Joffrey were consistently thoughtful and attentive, and we appreciated the care they put into making our visit smooth and comfortable. Interaction with Daniel and three sweet dogs added to the homey experience. The breakfasts were very generous, we especially loved the smoked duck breast. Joffrey’s homemade pineapple jam was my husband’s favorite. The location was excellent — convenient for getting around while still feeling tucked away. The homestay was quiet and peaceful, which made it easy to relax after long days out. For the quality of the accommodation and the overall experience, the value was outstanding. We rented a moto from them during our stay and took a couple of tours with Soriya’s tuk-tuk. During the tours, Soriya took the time to guide us through local customs, including how to make offerings at the pagodas, which added meaningful context to our visit. Overall, a comfortable, quiet, well-located stay with great value. We’re glad we chose this homestay and would happily return. Highly recommended.

We explored the nearby pepper farm, Secret Lake, and the fascinating salt flats with a driver who spoke excellent English, enhancing our overall experience with insightful commentary. Breakfasts served in a lovely covered outdoor area were another highlight of our stay. The meals were diverse and delicious, providing a perfect start to our days filled with exploration. The accommodations themselves were spotlessly clean, and the housekeeping staff changed our towels daily, ensuring a refreshing environment throughout our visit. With exceptional service, comfortable amenities, and a prime location, we would not hesitate to return to this outstanding guest house on our next trip to Kampot. It truly exemplifies the charm of family-run establishments, making for an unforgettable getaway.
