Family hotels and homes in Oslo

Larger than usual room for Europe. Clean, comfortable. Enough outlets! There was hotel/restaurant staff strike in Oslo while we were there but the protest was done in such a way that hotel could remain open, just limited cleaning and 2 of 3 restaurants available. Staff who were working were very friendly/helpful. Located right at the train station. Breakfast was astounding. Absolutely everything. Fine dining for breakfast.

Reasonable! I was glad to find a good and clean hotel with friendly staff during Nor-Shipping conference where usually the availability of hotels are low and prices high. A Wally to the closest subway station, sure, but manageable. 10 minute walk to nearby grocery store. A bus stop with airport limousine located nearby! Breakfast had a nice selection of food.

The location is amazing - with breathtaking views over the city and Oslofjord, a lot of hiking opportunities around. And at the same time, only 20-30 minutes by metro from the city center. The view from the room was stunning too! I also enjoyed the style of the hotel and the breakfasts were amazing!

Clean and comfortable bed, plenty of room and places to sit, good breakfast, terrible burnt drip coffee as almost everywhere in Norway and USA. Good location, helpful staff.

I had a wonderful stay at the Radisson Blu Hotel & Conference. The location is amazing especially that it’s very close to Lutvann. The hospitality was exceptional, and the staff made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. If you are an Arab and don’t speak English, don’t worry at all. The hotel has two of the kindest receptionists I have ever met: Mohammed and Ibrahim. They both speak Arabic and will gladly help you with anything you need, from check-in to the best recommendations for restaurants, attractions, and making the most of your entire stay. A very special thank you to my brothers, Mohammed and Ibrahim. Thank you for everything—for your kindness, professionalism, and outstanding service. You truly made my stay memorable. I highly recommend this hotel and look forward to coming back!

The hotel is in a great location near excellent public transport links and the Sogn student village which was perfect for us.

The hotel’s location was excellent. Close to the city center and within easy walking distance of the metro. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, offering everything needed for a pleasant stay. Breakfast had a good variety of fresh options each morning. I also really liked the gym; it was well-equipped and convenient to use during my stay. Overall, a very enjoyable and comfortable experience.

An amazing hotel located up the mountain with great views of Oslo. Breakfast was amazing and included. Staff member was super friendly.

Hotel Bristol had one of the best breakfast spreads I have ever had. There was such a large variety, and the food was excellent. The bed was also very comfortable, and they used high quality soap products in the bathroom (L'Occitane), which I appreciated as I have sensitive skin. We were there over the weekend, which can get loud in Oslo at night, but out room was quiet enough for us to easily fall asleep. It was also our honeymoon and the team surprised us with rose petals on the bed and a towel Swans. The location is very central an all the main sites of Oslo are within walking distance. The concierge team was also very helpful!

Their nice hospitality and their kind upgrade they did on their own, I loved the nice view of the woods.

Great stay, clean room and ship. Easy to check in, restaurants/bar and duty free on board. The leisure centre with pool/sauna was nice. Arcade room for kids/teens looked like fun but all we had was euros and card to pay so we couldn’t use it. Bingo was fun, staff were nice.

Amazing stay. Reception staff were so kind and accommodating. The spa was fantastic, views from the sauna were simply beautiful. Hotel had plenty of seated areas. Close to hiking and surrounded by woods.

Everything, especially the staff was very very helpful and friendly. Even the morning staff helped me to gather some coffee in the very early morning, even it was Sunday! :-)

This charming hotel is in a quiet residential area with easy access to Trams into Oslo. We loved the breakfast buffest - huge variety of very fresh hot and cold food. There are drinks available 24/7 ( tea, coffee, hot chocolate etc) and 'FIKA' cakes from 3-5pm...all included in the price of the room. Also included is an evening meal. Not a huge choice but lovely food. Given that Norway is expensive , these added extras made all the difference to our stay and budgeting. The decor in the common parts is like being in someone's house and it is so relaxing and welcoming. We would definitely stay here again.

A really good experience with an excellent service and very comfortable rooms, not to mention the beds, which are awesome.

Staff helped us book suitable rooms after we left a terrible apartment rental (see other reviews for caution!). Rooms were well appointed and nicely decorated. Beds were very comfortable. Breakfast spread was fantastic!
