The host, Pedro, was welcoming and super-accommodating with our bicycles, storing them for us in a safe place behind a locked door. The room had a delightful balcony with a view out to the ocean, and was clean and comfortable. The kitchen area was very well stocked with everything a traveller might need, and served as a terrific meeting area for rubbing elbows with other travellers. We loved our stay here, and would highly recommend it to other travellers.

Great place for resting during Camino. There is the relaxing atmosphere. The hotel is situated on side of the town in quiet area.

Everything was clean and perfect

I stayed at the Spot Hostel while walking the Camino de Santiago and it was the perfect stay. Most of the rooms are private, but in the common areas you get to relax with other pilgrims. Fão, where the Hostel is located is a charming village and has restaurants if you don’t want to use the kitchen at the hostel.

This was a wonderful stay. The room was spotless, comfortable, and quiet, making it the perfect place to rest after a long day on the Camino de Santiago. The owner was incredibly kind and thoughtful—even providing Epsom salt for a foot soak after learning we were Camino pilgrims. That small gesture meant a lot and showed genuine care for her guests. The breakfast was excellent, and the overall hospitality was outstanding. I would gladly stay here again.

Everything was amazing. I loved the hammock on the yard. The host was very friendly and talkative. She even offered water and coffee as we arrived. Rooms and bathrooms were super clean.

Ana's dad was taking care of the fireplace long into the evening to keep us warm, and it was more than enough to feel & sleep comfortably. Her mom took really good care in keeping the place clean, neat and tidy. The bed came with a clean & spotless mattress, and most importantly, it was bed bugs free, which is a rare privilege for camino accommodation. A large supermarket with warm fresh bread is a 3 min walk away. The kitchen comes 100% equipped. The place itself is an amazing sunset spotting site. After reviewing some overly dramatic reviews from precious guests, my stay was nothing but a very positive surprise.

The house is spectacular. But my favorite thing about this place... Is the owner. I have stayed in a lot of private residences during my travels, but the owner here is simply amazing. She did everything she could to make my stay a wonderful experience. She personally picked me up from town to take me to her residence. She made an amazing meal for me. Additionally, I was having some hip pain, and she let me use her foam roller and she had some other solutions to make my hip better. I would highly recommend this place to anyone.

Our family of four stayed in a back bungalow/casita with a great covered patio that was perfect for outdoor dining. The grounds are verdant and very well-cared for. There’s even a futbol field! St Augustine grass was all throughout the grounds, including around the pool. There are also chickens, roosters, geese, and swans oh my! enclosed on the property. Wonderful to wake up to the crowing roosters! The AC worked great. The host had a generous supply of espresso pods available and this is the first vacation rental that had a nonstick pan that wasn’t scratched up. There is a very large supermarket nearby, too. The hosts were extremely welcoming, accommodating, responsive, and concerned with your comfort. When they said they wanted us to feel at home, they really meant it.

One of the best Airbnb we have stayed in Europe. The two bedrooms were perfect and the patio is amazing. Aldi is less than a 5 minute walk and the apartment is equipped with everything one needs. Communication with the owner was easy and quick. Internet was fast as my daughter had to do some summer classes.

Wonderful house with a great view to the ocean. Full kitchen, two bathrooms, four bedrooms, and a sitting area! There was even a swimming pool although we didn't use it.

The entire staff was delightful-- friendly, and helpful! The apartments are charming small bungalows, immaculately clean and very comfortable. The location was very good, close to the ocean and supermarkets. The Tapas bar was a pleasant surprise, very good food and ambience!
