This is one of the coolest places we’ve ever stayed. Staff were super friendly and the place was super clean despite being on a farm. So much to learn and so many fun things to do on the farm like feeding the cows. They give a free tour around the property which was so fun.

The view was gorgeous. Felt really safe. The food was pricy but taste good (just hope it was served faster as I waited for almost one hour). Didn't have enough time to use but there was a pool as well.

The Tulia Retreat Hotel and Spa is truly a retreat. We stayed two nights--late afternoon and evening after a five day, four night safari--and the next night after touring the Arusha Natural History Museum and Masai Market. That gave us plenty of time to relax in the beautiful pool and gardens and enjoy the hospitality at this oasis. We had all of our meals during our stay at the hotel. Delicious food. Gracious and friendly service. For example, we asked the desk to call us a taxi. They apparently were unable to source one within a couple of minutes, so the day manager drove us into town himself. We took a motorcycle rickshaw back from the market which was an adventure.

Fabulous stay! The rooms are incredibly spacious, beautifully designed, and come with a private terrace to unwind. It's tucked away in a peaceful part of Arusha, yet still super close to town, restaurants, coffee shops, and supermarkets. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to help. Breakfast was a highlight, very generous, fresh, and delicious. I especially loved the large bathroom and thoughtful design details throughout the space. I truly felt well taken care of - a perfect base to relax

The hostel is great value! The room was comfortable and clean. The hostel is cozy and has a lot of areas to relax in. Awesome there is a restaurant on site. Staff were super kind! Bonus that there were cats there and beer was cheap! I’d def recommend if you’re staying in Arusha!

They offer storage service while on safari, and the food from the restaurant is delicious and well priced. I will stay here again and recommend Bright Star to others who visit Arusha!

What a lovely little slice of paradise. We stayed one night after our safari finished. This place officially has the most comfortable beds in Tanzania…

Very comfortable. Exceptional staff. Wonderful breakfast. Excellent food for dinner. I was there for 2 weeks and would gladly stay agin.

The staff were exceptionally friendly especially the gatelady and Haruna. It was refreshing especially so because we had come through a disturbing place and we greatly needed a place with peace.

They are very kind ,caring, famous for their gracious hospitality .This is the right place to stay.My mom and brother booked here for a week. It was wonderful. Mrimba hotel is about 4-5 km( 8000 TZS (Bajaji) - 20000TZS (cab)) from Arusha city center and about 25-30km (1 hr) from JRO. Off of NJiro bypass, we found the location safe, quiet and charming with Mount Meru views on a clear day. Beautiful, live green plants all throughout the hotel complex. Nice, enclosed yard by the pool (small) to relax and hang out. We stayed for 2 nights. We felt safe enough to take a short quick walk on the bypass after sunset. The staff will order Bajaji or a cab for you. Room size was great for 2 of us plus had a balcony with the view to Mount Meru! Room lighting was great, tall mirror, mosquito nets, two charging wall plugs for global electronic ( phones, Ipads) devices. Decent sized, Open bathroom with no separation from toilet so the floor does get wet on showering, but can manage to not get toilet area wet due to adequate space to shower on the opposite size. Hot water does run out quickly so use efficiently. Climate was warm so even if hot warm ran out, the water temp was good enough to finish the shower. Dinner and breakfast options onsite include vegetarian choices. We loved carrot and ginger soup with avocado salad. Breakfast included hot and cold options from cereals, breads, pastries, lots of cut fruits to warm items such pancakes/crepes, potatoes/vegetables, eggs cooked to order in different ways, baked beans, sausages etc. juices, hot teas and coffees, hot chocolates etc. Most of all, all staff members and site manager, Joseph, were very friendly, helpful, polite and will do anything to take care of your needs.

The service of the people and the place is beautiful

This villa was everything and more. The staff went out of their way and made my husband's birthday memorable. The decorations for his surprise birthday celebration were on point, the cake, dinner, champagne, everything was perfect. The rooms are spacious. The bed was very comfortable. We had a beautiful balcony with views of Mt Meru. Breakfast and dinner were delicious. I'd recommend their natural juice which was very good. They also have a massage and salon on site. And they had a taxi guy with reasonable rates who drove us whenever we needed transport. Overall I'd 10/10 recommend Villa Arumeru. The hospitality of the staff is unmatched.

Beautiful property, very lush with lovely grounds. Staff was amazing, welcomed us warmly with hot towels and juice, even though we arrived in the middle of the night. Nice breakfast. Perfect pre-safari stay.

Absolutely stunning property and the staff is so so so nice and the food was just excellent. I would definitely stay there again so if you’re hesitating, hesitate no more just book it if you are lucky enough to get a room.!!!

Owner of the homestay was away traveling, but Eliya and Cliff took really good care of us. Can’t stress enough how nice these guys were.. very very warm and chill guys! Room had a nice authentic African shack look and feel to it and as everybody else mentioned here, food was amazing!

Everything is good and clean the staff are very nice too

Arrived after a long drive and was happy to get my bed ready. Took a long shower and then proceeded to dinner and it was excellent. Breakfast was good and tasty. It's a really great deal if you are looking for a safe and tranquil place without having to break the bank.
