I had an incredible experience at Pumba and couldn’t have asked for a better getaway! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted by friendly and attentive staff who made me feel right at home. The location is absolutely prime—perfectly situated for exploring the surrounding wildlife and enjoying the tranquility of nature. The game drive was a highlight of my trip. The guide was knowledgeable and passionate about the wildlife, making the experience both educational and thrilling. I had the chance to see a variety of animals up close in their natural habitat, which was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. The friendly atmosphere, combined with the beautiful surroundings, made me decide to extend my stay. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with top-notch service and incredible wildlife experiences, I highly recommend Pumba! I’ll definitely be back for more.

Well located in Central Serengeti, within intra-day range to both the Northern Serengeti and the Mara River crossing, and the Southern plains. Exceptionally caring and responsive staff. Excellent support in organizing activities and logistics, highly recommended for travellers not relying on tour operator packages.

I had the most epic vacation at the Africa Serengeti Ikoma, and would a 100% recommend it to anyone wanting to experience the ultimate peace; enjoy fresh air; see tons of animals — also at your doorstep. The staff at the lodge is second to none — super helpful, kind, caring, genuinely interested, very helpful, and to top it all off — our driver, Mr. Godlisten was an absolute gem. He picked us up from the airport, spent the entire week driving us around and showing us all the animals — from cheetah family to more than 20+ lions across 3 game drives to many many more wildlife encounters. I’m so thankful and can’t praise Godlisten highly enough for his driving skills, his kindness, and all the interesting stories he shared. A couple of key tips: bring cash and don’t rely on credit card machines (there’s no connection in the bush); go during the ‘wet’ season in March — you’re guaranteed to see so many more animals, and waaaay less crowds; stay at least 5-6 nights and take 3 game drive trips during your stay. PS! There’s also a tiny souvenir shop at the lodge.

Beautiful property, amazing rooms with outdoor bathtubs and shower. The staff and food were excellent!

Staff amazingly helpful. Ala Carte food was well prepared and served under the stars in the garden. What a great treat!! Tents all looked very new and they were spacious for triple share and very nicely appointed. Beautiful wood everywhere from floors to furnitures. This was the nicest appointed camp of the 3 we stayed at. I hope to be back!!!
