This hostel is just about 3 weeks new when I stayed here. Biba, the friendly owner, went out of her way to make my trip to Aswan enjoyable. The photos and description of the place match with reality. There’s a sweet lady who cleans the entire place every day. To my delight, the windows are cleaned both inside and outside so guests can enjoy the view of the Nile. Thanks to Pajama Hostel, my first impression of Egypt has been good so far. This is a women-owned business that I’m happy to support.

Just taking the boat taxi here was an amazing beautiful journey and staying here with the beautiful views of the botanical garden and sand dunes has such a beautiful feeling over the sacred Nile! It's magical. The staff is amazing! The full size king bed is very comfortable, everything is super nice!

We had a wonderful stay at Rayan Nubian Guest House. Mohamed, Kareem, and the entire staff were exceptionally kind and helpful—truly among the loveliest people we met in Egypt. The rooms were clean and spacious, and all the facilities were well maintained and fully functional. Breakfast was varied and delicious, and Mohamed even prepared breakfast boxes for us when we left early for Abu Simbel. We were also touched by the thoughtful parting gifts. I highly recommend this guesthouse to anyone visiting Aswan.

Amazing rooms, super comfy beds and great location. Not quite in the city center which makes it more quiet and relaxed. The breakfast is really delicious!! And the best thing was Hamza, the host. He's so welcoming, kind and warm. He's really making sure that you feel comfortable and great at his place. We were sick so he even helped us with getting meds from the pharmacy and was constantly checking in on us. He was really going out of his way to make us get better. Thank you so much for everything again Hamza, you're incredible!

Property was clean the location fantastic. We see the Nile from the roof and the balcony. Sunset view is beautiful there. You have access to reach the other side of the island Breakfast is delicious. They have small devices to protect the room from mosquitoes. I love everything there.

Our stay at Nala Narty was nothing short of exceptional and truly became the highlight of our trip to Egypt. We originally arrived in Aswan planning to board a Nile cruise, which was unexpectedly canceled the night we arrived. What could have been a major setback turned into a blessing in disguise, thanks to Sherif, the incredible host and owner of Nala Narty. Sherif went above and beyond to help us completely replan our trip—from arranging activities to sharing local insights—and ensured that our experience in Aswan was not only salvaged, but far exceeded our expectations. We ended up doing all our sightseeing and excursions with Nala Narty as our base, and we’re so grateful we did. The property itself is stunning—peaceful, beautifully designed, and deeply connected with nature. It provided the perfect calm and relaxing atmosphere we needed. The home-cooked meals were absolutely delicious, and the care and hospitality we received made us feel completely at home. What started as a disruption to our plans turned into one of the most memorable parts of our entire journey. We left Aswan feeling rested, inspired, and incredibly grateful.
