A great hostel! The best we had in Peru. Chip and Jessica were lovely, welcoming and very helpful with finding the Amazonas tour and a Belen food tour for us- both tours were great and in a good price.

A jungle paradise just outside of busy Iquitos. The eco-lodge is on a beautiful property full of birds, plants, nature sounds, etc. and the pool is such a nice way to relax and cool off. It's very easy to get to via shared car aka colectivo. Some Spanish would definitely help, but with a sense of aventure and Google translate, you'd be fine!

Incredibly clean room and comfortable bed - beyond my expectations. Also, I heard barely any street noise from the room - it was so quiet! Shower water was room temperature, which was totally okay. Having a small fridge is great. Staff were friendly and let me store luggage without extra cost. I can absolutely recommend staying at Casa Alemi while visiting Iquitos!
