The views are spectacular. The hiking in the area was fun and we were able to see mountains and lakes and then have wonderful food when we returned to the alm. The staff was wonderful and we will definitely return!

It is an amazing place, this is the first time we saw miniature horses, got to brush them and spend time at the farm. We are thankful for the passes and other help the hosts did.

Our unit was exceptionally clean and well equipped (furniture, linens, kitchen utensils and appliances, household items) which allowed us to cook dinner for ourselves. We were able to order fresh rolls and homemade bread, butter, and milk directly from the host family for breakfast - and even see them making the butter! We loved the natural cosmetics (Ringana) found in the WC and bathroom. The extended host family is so friendly and welcoming, we immediately felt part of the family! We got great tips for hiking and eating out: several major hiking tours start from Ederhias, and three excellent restaurants/Wirtshäuser are within walking distance up the hill.

We stayed in a self-service apartment (so no breakfast unless we wanted to pay) and it was a nice stay. Located away from the hustle-and-bustle, Gladerhof is a family run farm-stay-restaurant, and everyone is involved. We enjoyed that connection, and the food for dinner at the restaurant was really delicious, and many things came from their farm. Our favorite thing was that they are pet friendly and there are great walks right from the doorstep into the woods or along the roads. The apartment was fairly spacious, clean, and the kitchen had all the items one would need. We loved the induction cooktop, it was fast and safe. We loved the view from our balcony too, especially in the quiet mornings, but the neighbors were noisy until late many nights. Cest la vie!
