We were 100% satisfied with the accommodation. The room was pleasant and cosy, and we appreciated that it could be darkened, which was important for our baby. Thanks to the air conditioning, the room stayed nicely cool. Everything was clean and thoughtfully arranged. The hosts were very kind, polite and helpful; they accommodated our request for a baby crib and even prepared a book, toys, and changing supplies for our daughter. We all slept very comfortably. Breakfast was excellent, with a selection of cold cuts and cheeses, yoghurts, muesli, juices, and fresh bread. The host made delicious pancakes for us, served coffee and croissants, and also offered scrambled eggs. If we are ever in the Padua area again, we will definitely stay here. Thank you.

Breakfast was amazing! We would definitely recommend it! Our hostess took wonderful care of my whole family. She cooked us a traditional Italian breakfast with cappuccino, hot tea, sweet breads, macadamia nuts, yogurt, fresh fruit and more! There was also a very nice selection of cold water and drinks available to us during our stay which we greatly appreciated! The apartment was beautiful and comfortable! It was even better than I had expected staying in this authentic Italian villa. Two of my family members also stayed in single rooms which were lovely as well. We were very at home here in our lovely Italian accommodations.

I am from Australia and on my first visit to Italy in 2017, I and my husband stayed at II Castagneto. On our second visit to Italy, we made sure we stayed again. My first comment to my husband when we arrived was "it is like coming home". Julia is an exceptional host. The accommodation is absolutely clean and comfortable. Julia's home-baked goods and home-made jams send my husband into an eating frenzy they are so good. The views and environment provide you with an understanding of the beauty of the area and agriculture in Italy. On our next visit which will be to see south of Rome, we will take the time out of the journey to travel north and spend time at our adopted "Italian Home".
