The pool area and views are what make this hotel extremely special and are why I would stay again, I could have happily spent every day there sunbathing with my book. The room was very comfortable and spacious with good aircon, a small fridge and a comfy bed. The balcony was nice for sunrise and sunset. The staff were all very friendly and made the visit extra special — thank you.

Some of the most friendly hotel staff we’ve ever encountered. All the employees at the front desk asked how we were doing every time we walked through the lobby. The young lady that managed breakfast was also very attentive, professional, and skilled at making omelettes and coffee. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to the room with the fireplace. The architecture and design of the building is truly mesmerizing. It’s evocative of a Byzantine Inn from nearly a millennium ago. We were kind enough to get a room upgrade free of charge, which was very appreciated. Great bed, shower, welcome gifts, etc. Ioannina itself was gorgeous with its antique old town and beautiful lake being overlooked by snowcapped mountains.

Hotel Antique is housed in a 150 year old stone building in the historic center of Ioannina, a few yards from the castle of Ioannina and all its sites, and 820 feet from Pamvotis lake.

Lovely place. But even more than the hotel was the welcoming, attentive, gentle staff. Who was there for every wish and helped with every problem. The inner swimming pool and Jacuzzi was amazing. And rooms were very cosy.

The location was great, near to castle, lake, bars and markets. The hotel and rooms were very clean and the bed comfortable. The staff was very friendly and full of positive energy. Breakfast was alla carte and delicious.
