Our 5-night stay was amazing. Beachfront with the Esplanade road in front, but a beautiful view from the master bedroom. The main pool was perfect, and the kiddy pool on the other side with the BBQ area was ideal. Having two living spaces was great, and the BBQ made life easy. The property felt secure and was not far from restaurants or shops. We would absolutely recommend staying here.

Honestly, for us this was a gem to discover. We'd never stayed in this kind of accomodation but the photos looked amazing and truthfully, you expect a certain amount of "creativity" with the photos but when we arrived.....we were totally blown away. Spotless unit, amazing view and such lovely hosts. Our next stay, we will try the waterfrontage units but that is just a personal preference. The garden units also had a great view and even the campsites were well appointed and perfectly equipped. Seriously - dont overlook this fabulous piece of tropical paradise!

I had a wonderful stay at The York beachfront Holiday apartments. The location is right across the road from the beach which is lovely and quiet. I enjoyed the pool and local cafe walking distance, only a couple of minutes away. Ed and May are friendly and very accommodating. I'll be back next year.

Although we got a room without a bath, due to the outdated booking.com's description, the manager Chika promptly responded to our request at after hours, she provided us the perfect apartment instead. I liked having a dedicated parking spot right outside my assigned room. It was wonderful that the unit I stayed in was on the ground floor, as requested. Having just one key to use for the front and rear entrances made me feel safe the whole time I stayed there by myself for 2 weeks. The beach was just a short walk away.

The owners made this accommodation such an excellent choice. Michael and Reilli were attentive hosts and checked in with us a number of times to see if they could assist us in any way. The location was excellent and only a short walk to the beach, cafes and shops. The local bus system worked really well to get between Cairns and Trinity Beach. In the grounds is a large outdoor kitchen with plenty of seats and tables for guests to use, close to a lovely pool.
