Mango Lagoon Resort & Wellness Spa, Palm Cove offers a serene retreat set amidst 2.5 acres of landscaped gardens, providing a true tropical atmosphere with meandering walkways surrounding 4 large pools, which includes a 50 metre Olympic sized lap pool and a child friendly pool for the whole family. Guests can select from self contained 1 and 2 bedroom (dual key) apartments with full kitchen and laundry facilities, OR for the economical traveller we also have Compact Budget rooms which have no kitchen or laundry facilities - great for the short stay. All rooms are airconditioned for those hot balmy days and nights. If anybody has a disability, we have 2 only 2 Bedroom Courtyard Apartments which are wheelchair friendly with the second bathroom having a fully walkin shower. Our Resort features a Wellness Spa which includes Acupuncture and Massage Therapists performing treatments in our open air rooms near the sound of a waterfall. Our covered poolside BBQ area is popular for dining options along with the sun lounges scattered around the pool areas - great for catching some sun rays! There's an on-site tour desk with staff that have many years of local knowledge and secure Free Wi-Fi throughout EVERY ROOM and the RESORT. If you need a snack or drink, we have at reception a snack and drinks machine perfect for the late arrival for a snack on the run.
Palm Cove is well known for its beach village vibes, along with wonderful dining experiences, far enough away from the hustle and bustle of Cairns City itself. Set amongst ancient Melaleuca trees which fringe the beachfront with a range of quaint bars, cafes and indulgent restaurants and boutique shopping. A popular spot for fishing is the Palm Cove Jetty, a perfect area for a bit of fishing with the locals. Dining ranges from five-star restaurants to the traditional fish and chips wrapped in paper and enjoyed while sitting under a draping coconut palms. Palm Cove also has one of Cairns' only absolute beachfront restaurants, where the fresh sea breezes and a few palm trees are all that separate you from the ocean. Thanks to the hard working locals and council workers the beach is maintained to a high set of standards for swimming or just picnicing on the weekend.
