The friendliness of the hosts! The accommodation which was super clean! And of course the great breakfast! Also we were there with a baby and the host upgraded us to the little apartment downstairs to make sure we could move comfortably in the hotel! The food in the restaurant was exceptional - both the a la carte menu and the fixed price options. The staff are friendly and genuinely helpful, giving recommendations for local hiking trails and other activities. The hotel location and the town of Butgenbach are wonderful places.

We spent two nights at this property over New Year’s Eve, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. The villa itself and all of its furnishings were exceptionally clean, modern, and stylish. Each bedroom has its own private shower, and the house includes two separate toilets—one on the upper floor and one on the ground floor—which made our stay very comfortable. The front yard is spacious and easily accommodates parking for multiple vehicles. The large garden is beautifully landscaped, featuring a gazebo with decorative lighting, as well as a slide and swing that were perfect for children. The outdoor jacuzzi, located under the terrace, was very easy to use and provided a relaxing experience. In the same area, there is comfortable outdoor seating beneath a large covered terrace, along with a beautiful stone-built barbecue next to the garden. A stylish and spotlessly clean dry sauna is located on the second floor and is very easy to operate. The kitchen was fully equipped and impeccably clean. Overall, this property is suitable for all seasons and can comfortably accommodate up to nine guests, making it an ideal choice for a relaxing holiday. Communication with the property owner was quick, easy, and very responsive.

The staff was incredibly nice and the property backs up to some wetlands with a nice boardwalk to hike.
