The spa is amazing and stays open late! The staff was so accommodating and friendly. I even made friends with other solo travelers. The room was very nice. Walking distance to the small town and walking or short drive to many fun hikes. Food looked and tasted great. They even slipped me a little extra wine which was very nice 😃😃 10/10 recommend this place!

Beautiful setting. Secluded, pastoral location surrounded by trees and small streams winding through the woods, walking and bike paths going off in multiple directions, pleasant 25 minute walk into the medieval city of Villingen. Weather was cold, so I didn’t use the pool or Wellness facility, but looked very appealing. Family run, very friendly people, front desk manager Michael and dining room hostess/owner spoke English well, which was appreciated; excellent restaurant for dinner; also very nice breakfast buffet.
