United StatesSuch a cozy retreat! We skied the asahidake ropeway and were able to walk from/ski back to the property. The breakfast buffet was insane- tons of Western and Japanese options and the dinners were GREAT at night-- esp the Japanese ones! We also enjoyed wine hour from 9-10p. The private onsens were awesome and always available when we wanted them

CanadaAmazing stay here. Rooms are big, very clean and very comfortable. They even give you Kalita coffee grinder and grind in your room if you want! ( but there is also a Jura coffee machine downstairs 😂). Traditional Japanese food was a very cool experience.. Multi course meals, wow. And the onsen is fantastic,,, like multiple different to choose from. Also they have self laundry in the basement that is reasonably priced. And it's 5 minutes from the ropeway for skiing...

Excellent location, room overlooking the river and mountainside. Very close to the Kurodake Ropeway, we walked there and back.

Convenient facilities (coin laundry, pantry to prep your own food if you want), very large rooms, comfortable beds. Buffet meals were satisfying and good quality but not outstanding. Baths were good and staff pleasant.

The location: close to waterfalls n ropeway. The staff: polite and helpful but most are not conversant in English. The onsen: good size, can accommodate despite the high occupancy. Dinner: good spread and was efficient in managing crowds.

The location is good and very near the kurodake ropeway. The 3 onsen with different ambience are very nice. The staff are most helpful.

Food was excellent: not every item was good, but there were plenty of delightful ones. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the baths were clean, including the small but enjoyable outdoor bath. The hotel lobby was very clean and modern, with a cosy wood fireplace to sit at. Staff were attentive and cheerfully helpful. Motorcycle parking was under shelter. There is a small coin laundry.
