Had a great corner room with double aspect windows, very bright and overlooked the park. Large shower and the breakfast was very good along with the bar area. Food was very good quality and the drink options at the bar very nice and reasonably priced. If time permits go for a walk or rent a bike, it was a lovely setting among the trails and bike paths.

Room exceeded my expectations

What a gorgeous place. You can't beat the ambience! Simple but very comfortable bedroom. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Was great that we could rent bikes right at the property.

The Van der Valk Hotel Wolvega- Heerenveen is located next to the highway A-32. Food and drinks can be enjoyed at Birdy's Bar or à la carte restaurant Martinus.

Lot of space, easy to park car, nice location, nice view of the hotel, clean, comfort, my best hotel in the 9-day trip, we checked in around 1:30 AM, still staff there to help.
