The property has character and is comfortable. The architecture and design make a solid, quiet room. The property was clean, and the staff was personable and helpful. The location is prime right in the middle of Newport so that you can walk to many venues.

Gilded is a wonderful boutique hotel, recommended to me by a friend and it exceeded my expectations. The staff are lovely, rooms are beautifully decorated, bathroom products are lovely with natural ingredients, breakfast is healthy with GF/DF options, fresh berries and there are cookies in the afternoon, with tea and coffee always available. The location is easy walking distance to the water but also to the free trolley bus stops. A lovely getaway and they were very accommodating.
