Excellent staff, couldn’t be more helpful if they tried and really spoilt our puppy who came along for the journey too. Absolutely stunning place already looking to come back in the new year. Moved us to a different table when asked due to our puppy being reactive to other dogs in the restaurant.

I couldn’t find anything to fault about this place, and I am a tough scorer! The location was perfect. It is overlooking the gardens and a short walk from numerous bars and restaurants. It was quiet and the bed very comfortable so we slept very well. The owners are extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. They even loaned us a map one day. The breakfast was excellent, with a lot of options including fruit, porridge, and muesli. The building itself is very well appointed and tastefully decorated with old images of the area.

Everything was fabulous. Owners were friendly, the room was clean & well equiped, home cooked breakfast to order, nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend.

Beautiful property. The rooms are well appointed. Bed and pillows were very comfortable and the rooms had several small touches that were so appreciated. Carafe of mild k for our morning coffee and fresh cold water was waiting for us. Everything was immaculate. We came into the pub early and had a wonderful lunch and Kater ate dessert while have a drink to wind down before the end of the evening. The breakfast provided was quite good as well. Lastly the staff were very accommodating and pleasant. We will be back again.

We loved the pub atmosphere, Matin 1 and 2 so friendly and helpful. Jennie looked after us to. A high standard. All so friendly.
