EVERYTHING (deliberately in capital letters). This is a phenomenal hotel and undoubtedly the most spectacular place we've ever visited. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and we already can't wait to go back. We would highly recommend the Markee Castle to ANYONE.

Great breakfast - eggs made to order if you like. Good gym with sauna, steam room, and lap pool. Family accommodations (1 BR suite with kitchenette - small fridge, sink, microwave) makes it easy for a family of 5 to stay together and not split into 2 rooms.

We stayed in the original house. Our room was lovely, modern take on old style decor. Modern clean bathroom. Very comfortable bed. The decor and furniture in the old house was beautiful. Very nice breakfast. We didn't get to use the facilities of the hotel but it was busy with golfers on the morning we left. Lovely location.

Marita was so welcoming and informative of the area. The house was stunning - very modern, well kept and clean. Bed huge and extremely comfortable. All facilities in the room that you would expect. Unbelievable location - breakfast with a close view of Benbulben. Breakfast was the show stopper here - freshly baked scones still slightly warm and wheaten, fruit yogurt and cereals and a delicious cooked breakfast from a well varied menu. Coffee was great too. Will certainly be back.

Reception staff were very efficient and welcoming, the hotel is in a nice location on the outskirts of Sligo. We had bar food in Waves bar, the service was good and the food was tasty. The bar staff on the day were attentive and friendly. We had a business class room and it was very spacious and well laid out. We had breakfast delivered to our room and it was good quality and piping hot. Parking included which is always a plus. Overall a very pleasant stay.

Room 428 was spacious and had a beautiful view over the river. The rooms have been renovated recently to a high standard and the large bed was ver comfortable. The room was very quiet, the hotel location is very central and having underground parking is a real bonus when the weather is wet ( for packing up the car) Good breakfast and staff very friendly.
