Nestled within Yeats Country, Ocean Heights B&B overlooks the Atlantic Ocean and Innismurray Island located along the Wild Atlantic Way in Co. Sligo. Staying at Ocean Heights B&B in Ballinfull means true relaxation, nestled along the serene coastline of north Sligo, this peaceful retreat offers stunning views of the Atlantic and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. From the moment you arrive, the stress melts away — replaced by sea breezes, quiet mornings, and the comfort of a home away from home. It is a family-run bed and breakfast that offers rooms with attractive décor full of coastal character - Fall asleep to the sound of the sea. Offering bright, spacious bedrooms with attached bathroom which include flat screen TV’s, desk, and tea/coffee making facilities, walk in power showers, heated towel rails ensuring a warm and fluffy towel is at hand with complimentary toiletries and crisp cotton linen. Rooms have ocean or garden views. Wi-Fi is available throughout. Breakfast is served in the dining room which overlooks the ocean. Guests can choose from a varied menu which includes a full Irish breakfast, continental options, fresh fruit, homemade pancakes with are a specialty, along with a selection of homemade brown breads and jams. Only five minutes’ drive from the historic Lissadell House and Gardens, The villages of Grange and Drumcliff are close by, with restaurants, traditional Irish pubs and a variety of shops. One of Ireland's oldest pubs, Ellens is three minutes’ drive away. Sligo town is 20 minutes and a car is recommended. drive away. Cloonagh Cliffs on our doorstep is a short walk , with Raughley Harbor 5 minutes’ and Streedagh 10 minutes. Surrounded by magnificent mountains, spectacular coastlines and beautiful beaches you will be spoiled. Nearby attractions include Atlantic Sheepdogs, horse riding, fishing, golfing and cycling.

This is a family run B&B and I take great pride in my home and enjoy welcoming new guests and sharing my knowledge of beautiful Sligo and all it has to offer. I am married to Stephen who is a Fisherman and we have 4 children. As Yeats said "there are no strangers here, only friends you haven't met yet"

Ocean Heights B&B is located overlooking the Ocean near Lissadell and set on the picturesque Sligo coastline of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way. This hidden gem is the perfect place to relax in a tranquil coastal setting while also being within driving distance of all the great attractions and activities that Yeats Country has to offer. After the perfect night’s sleep in a cosy bed, wake up to incredible views of land and sea, and start the day with a delicious breakfast including freshly made brown bread & scones. Cloonagh beach is only a 2 minute walk away from the B&B, or you can enjoy a longer coastal stroll; stopping to take in the panoramic views along the way, before returning to relax in our beautiful garden. Ocean Heights rooms are all ensuite with private bathrooms, each room has flat screen Smart TVs with Netflix. Rooms are tastefully decorated with clean crisp linen, fluffy towels, complimentary toiletries, Tea and Coffee making facilities with snacks and sweets, luggage racks, laptop tables and hairdryers. All rooms have wardrobe, seating area and have either a sea or garden view. Our delicious breakfasts are served in our breakfast room overlooking our gardens and the Atlantic ocean. There is a varied Breakfast menu for all tastes from the Full Irish, to Scrambled Eggs and Smoked Salmon or the very popular Pancakes! All is served with Homemade Brown Bread and Scones and our delicious eggs are free range from our own chickens. We are located 10 minutes drive from the nearest restaurants, but Ellen's Pub is only a 5 minute drive or a short walk. We are located in the Irish countryside and a car is recommended. There are plenty of coastal activities to enjoy on the Surf Coast of Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way including Horse Riding on Streedagh Beach, Stand Up Paddle Boarding in Lissadell, Coasteering in Mullaghmore. Our Sligo B&B is also ideally located for Walking and Birdwatching. We look forward to welcoming you.

We live overlooking the Ocean nestled in the Irish countryside located 20 minutes from Sligo town and 10 minutes from Grange or Drumcliff villages. We are located in the beautiful Irish countryside and a car is recommended. We are located in a rural quiet area overlooking the Ocean. The nearest restaurant's are10 minutes drive where you can taste lovely local cuisine or enjoy some Seafood. Ellen's Pub which is one of Ireland oldest pubs only 5 minutes drive or a short walk. On certain nights there are lively trad sessions where you can enjoy the music by the open fire with a pint of Guinness. We are only 10 Minutes from the majestic Benbulben where you can explore this famous mountain known as "Irelands Table Mountain". Yeats grave is also close by where you can visit the resting place of the famous poet. Other attractions close by are Glencar Waterfall, Devils Chimney, Gleniff Horseshoe, Lissadell House and Gardens, Streedagh Beach, Mullaghmore Beach and Rosses Point. Carrowmore Megalithic Cemetery is also close by which is very popular or why not take a hike up Knocknarea to visit Queen Maeves Grave the great warrior princess. The picturesque fishing harbour of Raughley is 5 minutes drive from us where you can stroll along the harbour of take a coastline walk passing by the magnificent "Punch Bowls". Classiebawn Castle in Mullaghmore is a signature point on the Wild Atlantic Way and is a must see, this spectacular castle is very popular and in a fabulous location. There are a number of Golf courses nearby from Strandhill, Rosses Point, Castle Dargen. Fishing, cycling, scenic walks, watersports, Atlanitc Sheepdogs demos, Alpaca Treaks and flying Eagles all within the area. Sligo has something for everyone - "Sligo is Surprising"
