Excellent facilities Great food

Everything was fabulous from checking to checking out ARTHER on reception went above and beyond to make sure we were looked after as did Sarah and all the staff in the bars and restaurant it was one of the best experiences we have had in all our travels worldwide as my wife and I are both in our mid 80 and we’re looked after as if we were family

Really nice hotel in the middle of town. Bed was comfortable. Nice sized entry room. View out to the river was lovely. The breakfast was typical hotel breakfast, was nice. No complaints, would be back again

Last minute booking that turned into a great experience. Great room, probably the best meal and dessert we have had on our 15 day journey thru iIreland. Would definitely book again if we have the chance.

EVERYTHING (deliberately in capital letters). This is a phenomenal hotel and undoubtedly the most spectacular place we've ever visited. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The food was amazing and we already can't wait to go back. We would highly recommend the Markee Castle to ANYONE.

The staff were really friendly and the hotel was lovely. It is centrally located, but the town is small anyway. Nice, spacious rooms. The breakfast was very good as well. The hotel bar had live music on a Saturday night! The parking was very spacious, located right behind the hotel.

The location, the quality, the welcome, the room, the balcony and the view! The continental breakfast is simple but it serves the purpose. Hams, cheeses, fruits, breads, cereals, granola mix, good coffee, tea, juices!

Great breakfast - eggs made to order if you like. Good gym with sauna, steam room, and lap pool. Family accommodations (1 BR suite with kitchenette - small fridge, sink, microwave) makes it easy for a family of 5 to stay together and not split into 2 rooms.

Traveled a lot but this was home away from home. Fantastic staff in Agatha In reception who was so welcoming. Great to see such a warm and welcoming environment

Everything was really super! We especially loved the chance to cool down the room at night with the fan system. It meant that we slept really well!

This was our 3rd or 4th stay here, but the first in over 2yrs. It was so nice to see the hotel get a make over inside, it was so bright and fresh. The room we had was fab, spacious and a beautiful view. The staff are lovely, so friendly and the food was gorgeous in the bar.

Staff especially Monica who helped me when attempting to cancel reservation at Maldron Hotel South Cork City. I tried hard to do it through Booking, Com. to no avail! The food was excellent, Pub was nice and the service staff were wonderful and location views were beautiful.
