Everything was so organized! They gave us a camping kit with everything we needed to start a fire, understand the basics of camping and have a comfortable stay. Very thoughtful! The main house is also very clean and was very well equipped. The camping is right by the Nakasendo trail and a perfect stop to rest between Magome and Nojiri.

We stayed for 2 nights from April 5, 2025. Luckily we got a big room with a great view of lake Yamanaka and Mt Fuji. It’s a Japanese style room. We stayed on the 2nd floor of the bldg adjacent to the main building where the shared bath (one for men and one for women) located. The shared bath has 5 showers and a rectangular tub for onsen (water temperature is very hot in the onsen). There are 3 toilets on the 2nd floor in our bldg shared among 4 rooms. The toilet rooms are very small. There are 2 sinks next to the toilet rooms. Everything was very clean and functional. There’s a big refrigerator and hot water dispenser with tea & coffee right outside our room. The owners are very nice and kind. They don’t speak English but used a phone with translation app so there’s no problem communicating. Highly recommended to order both breakfast and dinner here. Pay cash in advance when order with the owners. 1000 JPY for breakfast and 2000 JPY for dinner for one person. The food was plentiful, delicious and gorgeously displayed. There are steps away from Hirano beach where we took many beautiful photos of the sunrise on Mt Fuji. The hotel is 2 minutes walk to Hirano bus stop.

Our stay here was absolutely amazing, and we would truly recommend it to any couple, family, or group of friends going to visit Gotemba + Mt. Fuji. The view of Mt. Fuji is absolutely breathtaking, and being able to wake up to that view was such a privilege. The "glamping" experience was so thoroughly & thoughtfully considered, and we loved the nature-filled break from hustle-and-bustle city life. The fact that we could reserve a time in the private onsen, complete with a view of Mt. Fuji at sunrise, was truly a highlight of our entire trip to Japan. We would definitely come back to stay here and would highly recommend it as a truly special experience!

The view was the best I’ve ever seen. I loved the onsen had the same view as our room. It was magical.
